Saturday Stamp Day ✿ Love You Tons

Saturday Stamp Day ✿ Love You Tons

Hi all! Happy Saturday!

I’m sorry for not uploading a card or a video this week, but I was super busy with school. But today I am back with an all new Saturday Stamp Day card and video! 🙂

There are two things that I like a lot… flowers and soft colors/watercolors. When you combine these two together, you’ll end up with a beautiful effect! So when I saw THIS image at the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog I was hooked. I mean, just look at that dress! The flower pattern and the soft colors are just fabulous… So I decided to create something similar!

The Thinking of You stamp set from Simon Says Stamp seemed perfect to create a beautiful watercolor effect. I heat embossed the flowers and then I colored them in with Distress Markers. Fun and easy! I colored the flowers super fast so I didn’t worry about coloring out of the lines or spreading the color evenly. That is the reason why I love this watercoloring technique so much!
I wanted the sentiment on this card to be simple and cute, so I first die cut a banner from the Sketchy Banners die cut set from Simon Says Stamp. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment on the banner using the Sketchy Banner Greetings stamp set from SSS. 🙂
Afterwards, I added some beautiful Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh on the card. Finally, I added some glitter using the Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz from Lindy’s Stamp Gang
That’s it for today! Be sure to watch the video!

Thanks for visiting!
