Simon Says STAMPtember® Stamp It BLOG HOP

Simon Says STAMPtember® Stamp It BLOG HOP

Hello everyone! Today I am designing for the Simon Says STAMPtember® Stamp It Challenge and Blog Hop. As you know, I was on the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog Design Team but I had to step down due to school work. However, today I’m joining them for their special STAMPtember® “Stamp It” Challenge and Blog Hop in honor of the big Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event.

We’re all using the new STAMPtember® goodies for this challenge and blog hop. It’s a huge release with lots of stamps, dies and stencils. Since this challenge is called “STAMP it” you must create a project using rubber or clear stamps, add your creation to the link up and hop around on the designers’ blogs to qualify.

I made a card using the brand new Presents and Ornaments stamp set. This set is great to make quick and easy Christmas cards since it has a bunch of stamps such as presents, snowflakes and greetings.

First, I heat embossed lots of snowflakes on a piece of white cardstock using my favorite white embossing powder. Then, I created a winter background using two different Distress Inks. Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean together make a beautiful frosty background. 🙂

For the sentiment, I heat embossed two greetings from the stamp set on a piece of black cardstock. I looped some white thread behind the black banner and adhered it using foam tape. Finally, I finished off the card using a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins

BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

From here you need to hop on over to Caryn Davies’ blog. You have until Wednesday, 8 a.m Ohio time to join in! 🙂

As always, Heidi is giving away a $50 gift voucher to spend in the Simon Says Stamp store. To qualify you must create a project using stamps, add your creation to the link up and hop around on the designers’ blogs.
