Updated Craft Room Tour 2015

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2015 will bring you lots of happiness, love and friendship. As my New Year’s gift to you, I decided to film an updated craft room tour. Lately, I have been posting a few peeks of my craft room on my Instagram account and a bunch of people have asked me to do a new and updated craft room tour. A few things have changed since my previous craft room tour including my stamp storage system.

By now you probably know I love to decorate my craft room. My decor has been switched up many times already, but this time I feel like it is finished and that I shouldn’t switch it up again. The color scheme of my craft room is pretty neutral with pops of color here and there. If you follow me on Pinterest you probably noticed my “Craft Room” board already. I recently updated this with all of the storage units and decoration I currently have.

One of the things I didn’t switch up that much are my storage systems. However, I do have a new container for my stamps and die cuts. You probably have heard about these containers trough Jennifer McGuire (that’s how I discovered them!). I use Fridge Binz and they are awesome. What I like the most about them is that they are big and sturdy enough to hold a lot of stamp and die cut sets. By the way, if you live in Europe and are afraid that you can’t purchase trough Amazon, check out Amazon DE. They ship to most European countries. 🙂

INK SWATCHES

In this video, you saw my ink swatches. I created my own little charts and stamped the ink color on there using a solid stamp from Winnie & Walter. You can download these swatches by clicking HERE. This is an editable file.

  1. What a fabulous room! I love how it has so much of your personality everywhere. I’m very curious about that mini sewing machine. I would also like something to do some stitching on cards but I don’t have the space for a full-sized machine. I would love to see you do a review on it and show how it works! I’ll be moving at some point in 2015, building, actually, so I’m really excited to get to design a new craft room/area for myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Hi Laura! What a lovely craft room you have. I like how you have a place for everything. When I saw your planner and pencil pouch I thought they were the prettiest things. I’m starting school in January and was wondering if you would share where you got them. Best wishes for the New Year <3 – Stephanie

Hey Stephanie, thank you so much! 🙂 I got the planner and pencil pouch back in July in the shop I talked about earlier – Hema. I don’t know where you are from, but maybe you can still order one of their planners from their UK shop. Happy New Year! Xo http://www.hemashop.com/gb/

  6. Your craft room is tidy and beautiful, Laura! Love it!
Is your dog called Jinny or Jimmy? I used to have a dog, my only dog, called Jimmy. So I was so surprised to hear that you mentioned your dog called Jinny/ Jimmy. As my husband said “Who would call a dog Jimmy??” Well, I did! ^_^ Hope you are another person that named the dog Jimmy!!

Thank you! 🙂 My dog is called Jinny. If she were a little guy, I would definitely have called her Jimmy. I like that name. Have a great day!!!

I got it at a Belgian store called Action. It’s basically like the Dollar Store in the USA. 🙂
