Saturday Stamp Day – Hello (Ink Blending + Masking)

Hello everyone! It’s not exactly Saturday anymore, but I’m here with a new Saturday Stamp Day card and video. Late is better than never, right? 🙂

In today’s video I am using the Bubble Talk stamp set from WPlus9 along with their Borders and Backgrounds 2 stamp set.

I did some masking and ink blending using Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks from Tim Holtz. These are my two favorite Distress Ink colors. You could use any dye ink for the ink blending, but I prefer to use Distress Inks since they blend like butter. On this card, I used a beautiful embossing powder from WOW. This powder is mainly metallic but it has this hint of sparkle to it which I really love. Like always, I finished off my card using a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins. They make my heart happy.

That’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by. xo

  2. This is so sweet and I love yellow and pink together, its so pretty and feminine. And love how you split the blending, very clever!!

  3. Laura, I really love your card making. It’s so light and fresh and young. And I love this card because it has an elephant, and they are my fave animal. Thanks for sharing.
