Happy Saturday, everybody! How are you all doing? Do you have any fun plans for the summer? I have some exciting card making related projects coming up and I can’t wait to share the news with you in a couple of weeks. In today’s Saturday Stamp Day video I will be showing you how to create another slider card with the Slide on Over dies from Lawn Fawn.

A couple of days go I purchased a new camera that allows me to focus well on my card and make things in the background blurry. I am having so much fun with it! Since I got a new camera, I wanted to switch up my setup a little bit. Do you like the photo style of my cards? If not, let me know and I’ll try some other things or I’ll go back to my previous setup. I love to receive constructive feedback so I can make sure I offer YOU the best content.

ssd-ciao-fullI started out by coloring the dogs from the Friends for all Seasons: Summer stamp set from WPlus9. This is one of my new favorite stamp sets out there! That dog holding the basket filled with bones cracks me up. I created a slider card so that it looks like the dog on the right is giving the (hungry) dog another bone! Just like “trick or treat” on Halloween. After die cutting a rectangle and hill, I did some ink blending with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink from The Ton. This ink blends like butter!

Creating a slider card is so easy! It may look intimating at first, but I can reassure you that it is easy and fast to do. Simply die cut one of the slits first. Then, turn your paper around and create a foam border for your penny. Next, double up your foam adhesive. After you created your frame, line up your penny with the slit and adhere two layers of foam adhesive to the penny. Finally, adhere your image to the foam adhesive. And voila! Your slider is finished! Easy, right? 🙂

That’s it for now! Thank you so much for reading today’s blog post. I will be back on Monday with a brand new video series filled with inspiration and giveaways. See you then. Xo
