Easter Cuteness with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi, there! I’m happy to be here with another card and video. 🙂 Last week, a couple of packages arrived. I ordered several stamps and dies and I also got the amazing opportunity to play with the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine!

In this video, I’m making a card with the fun Easter Wishes set from Sunny Studio Stamps and I’m also sharing my first thoughts on the Spellbinders Platinum 6! I was trying it out for the first time in the video. I did some simple die cutting, but I’ll be trying out different techniques with the machine soon.

I had a lot of fun stamping and coloring images from the Easter Wishes stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps with Copic markers. My coloring technique is easy! I simply pick out two to three markers and do some basic shading. I start out with the darkest color first, then move on to the mid-tone and finally I use the lightest color. Lately I also like to use the feathering motion with my brush since that helps me with adding shadow.

Just like I did in my previous video, I mixed some patterned papers. In total I use three different patterns but it works! That’s because I chose a relatively subtle pattern for the sky and the grass. Notice that I also broke up that patterned grass and sky by adding a white picket fence die. Finally, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment and added some sequins for the finishing touch!

I truly enjoyed making this card and I hope you love it as much as I do. Thanks so much for reading my blog post and for watching my video. Don’t forget to subscribe to both my blog and YouTube Channel to stay updated. Sending big hugs to all of you! Xo
