Christmas Bauble Card Ft. Lawn Fawn Beary Happy Holidays

Happy Saturday, everybody! School has started again for everybody here in Belgium, except for college and university students like me! I’ll be going back to college on September 18th, so I thankfully have some relaxing time left!

The Fall/Winter 2017 Release from Lawn Fawn is available for purchase at most online shops, so I thought I’d share a holiday card made with the Beary Happy Holidays set ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS | HLM ). I pre-ordered mine at which is an online crafty shop in Belgium. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re a local.

I used the Carly Cutaways die cut set from Winnie & Walter ( W&W ) to make a fun Christmas bauble shaped card. You could tie a bow and hang it in your Christmas tree, if you want! I didn’t have any ribbon that matched the colors of my card so I wasn’t able to do that, unfortunately.

I created a fun cool winter night sky with Tumbled Glass ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ), Broken China ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ) and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ). Lately I’ve been enjoying these inks. I never was really into them – except for watercoloring, but after playing around a bit I decided I want to do more ink blending. I stamped the snowflakes from the Beary Happy Holidays set with white pigment ink. However, it didn’t show up! So I had to improvise a bit by using white embossing powder ( ELH | SSS | WOW ) to heat emboss them and make them pop!

I used fun patterned paper from My Favorite Things ( ELH | SSS ) to add a pop of pattern behind the winter scene. I  finished off the card with some shimmer and shine! I used the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) to add a bit of glitter to the fish and the bucket. It doesn’t show up on the picture, but I can assure you that it’s super sparkly in real life. In my opinion, even sparklier than ZIG’s Clear Wink of Stella pen. 🙂

That’s it for now! Thanks for joining me today and I’ll see you soon. Xo

  1. This is delightful Laura – I can just envision a whole tree covered with variations of this lovely ornament, or lengths of bunting 🙂
