Hi there! While I was purging my stamp sets, I came across the Follow Your Heart set from Love Cynthia. Oh my goodness, why haven’t I used this stamp set more? It’s simply adorable! π
In today’s video I’m showing you how to create an ink blended scene with Distress Oxide Ink for an airbrushed and super smooth effect.
First, I created the masks with masking paper from Simon Says Stamp along with the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the little girl from the Follow Your Heart stamp set from Love Cynthia using Archival Jet Black ink. I used that particular ink because it’s smudge and waterproof, which makes it PERFECT for ink blending.

Next, I used Distress Oxide ink pads to do the blending. For the grass I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I used Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass for the sky. After the ink blending was dry, I stamped a sentiment with Versmark ink and applied clear embossing powder.

To finish off the blended scene, I applied Tonic Nuvo Drops in Grey Mist and White Blizzard. I also used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze to add extra shine and dimension to the images. π«π
