TWO Birthday Cards Feat. MFT Super Dog + Stencil

Happy Saturday, friends. I hope you’re doing well! Unfortunately, I’m not feeling great. I have a massive cold, my throat aches and my legs feel extremely heavy and painful. πŸ˜”πŸ€§ I’m bummed because I was looking forward to going shopping this weekend but I don’t think that’ll happen. Sigh. However, I think I’ll be making some cards instead!

In today’s video I’m creating two birthday cards with the Super Dog Stamp Set from My Favorite Things along with their Radiating Rays Stencil and Distress Oxide Ink.

First, I ink blended two background with the Radiating Rays Stencil from My Favorite Things. I created two different color schemes. For the blue card, I used: Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans and Black Soot. For the pink/purple card, I used: Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Black Soot. I went back and forth with the colors to create a nice and effortless blend.

Next, I colored two of the dogs, some stars and lightning bolts from the Super Dog Stamp Set from My Favorite Things. I added sparkle and dimension with a Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

Afterwards, I did some heat embossing for the sentiment pieces. I stamped the images using the WOW! Embossing Pad and then sprinkled on WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. To finish off the card, I applied Tonic Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard and Midnight Sky. πŸ’«

That’s it for now. Before I go, I want to ask you once again to please vote for my blog for Most Creative Art & Craft Blogs at MrKortingsCode.nl (MrDiscountCode.nl in English). πŸ’œ Thank you so much for your support and for stopping by. Sending big hugs.
