Watercolored Rainbow Shaker Card Feat. My Favorite Things Straight-Up Rainbow Dies

Hi! When I saw the Straight-Up Rainbow dies from My Favorite Things, I immediately knew I wanted to create a watercolored shaker card. So, I did! πŸ˜„

Make sure to watch the video tutorial below for tips and tricks.

First, I used Mini Distress Ink Pads on Ranger Distress Watercolor Paper to create quick and easy watercolored backgrounds. For most colors, I used two shades. I listed all of the ink pads I used in the supply list below. 🌈

Then, I used the Straight-Up Rainbow dies from My Favorite Things to die cut the rainbow stripes. I die cut the cloud twice: once using white felt and then one more time using white card stock for extra sturdiness.

After assembling the rainbow stripes, it was time to create my shaker. I used acetate and Scotch Foam Tape. As always I removed some of the stickiness using kitchen flour. I filled up the shaker with sequins, beads and stars from The Ton.

That’s it for now. Thanks so much for stopping by! Sending hugs. Xoxo πŸ’—
