Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a lovely day!
Today I finished my exams and now I’m 2 weeks off school! Yay! I’ll be having a lot of free time so I can create tons of cards :).
If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably know that my Simon Says Stamp order arrived yesterday. I couldn’t play with the goodies just yet because I had to study but today I broke out the supplies and created a card!
For this card I started used paper from the Lucky Charm Paper Pad from American Crafts/Dear Lizzy. It is such a gorgeous paper pad! It has lots of design in it with gorgeous colors. It’s really a must have!
I really wanted to use the Tim Holtz Distress Markers I bought. This is the first time I used Distress Markers and I love it! I got a set that includes 6 distress markers. It comes in a nice little box so you can store them easily! Here’s a photo! πŸ™‚
I linked up all the colors I used for this card in the supply list. I also linked up the set I got.
So for the house and the banner and the sentiment I used the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set and Die Cut Set from Lawn Fawn. It’s such a cute stamp set! For the sentiment I used some Wow Embossing Powder, I used their white embossing powder. I really like it, it’s a very bright white.
Before I go I also want to share a photo of cookies I made today! I was totally inspired by this image from Pinterest. Here are the cookies I made!
So, that’s it for today! I’ll be back on Saturday with a new Saturday Stamp Day Card and … yes … a VIDEO! πŸ™‚
Thanks for visiting!

Hello there! Happy Saturday!

A couple of days ago, my Simon Says Stamp order arrived which included some new Lawn Fawn goodies. I bought the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set and matching die cuts and I also bought the Lawn Fawn Hearts Die Cuts. So I decided to use the Hearts Lawn Cuts! I cut several hearts with my Big Shot using Woodgrain Paper from Simon Says Stamp and patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Daphne’s Closet 6×6 Paper Pad. I added some glossy accents on the hearts made out of patterned paper to let them stand out some more. I also added some little pearls on the card to add something extra :). For the sentiment I used the Flower Friend Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp and embossed it with white embossing powder from Wow.

That’s it for today! I’ll be back soon! πŸ™‚

Hello! Happy Saturday everyone!

For today’s card I wanted to use some different colors than I normally use. I decided to use some orange/brown/beige colors for this card. I’m not a huge fan of this color scheme but I thought it would be fun to do something different than usual :).

I used paper from the Neopolitan 6×6 Paper Pad from American Crafts/Dear Lizzy. The paper pad is really gorgeous, it has lovely soft colors in it but also some more brownish colors. I also used a brown button which is an old American Crafts Button, also from Dear Lizzy. The orange button is from Hero Arts. The felt flower is from an old Pebbles Collection, I think it’s from the Happy Go Lucky collection. For the sentiment I used the Year Round Stamp Set from Hero Arts and stamped the sentiment with Chestnut Roan Ink.

That’s some more about the card I made :).

So, the next couple of days I won’t have a lot of time to create cards because I have exams for a week and a half. Because I will study a lot I am only going to be able to create a Saturday Stamp Day. But after the exams I will have a lot of crafty time! I will be a guest designer on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog in April for the second time! Yay yay yay! I’m really really excited for it! And 2 days ago I got some happy mail from Papercraft Inspirations and they asked if they could publish a card from me in their magazine (May 2013 Issue)! Woop woop! I’m really excited and happy! πŸ™‚ THANK YOU Simon Says Stamp for asking me to be a GD and THANK YOU Papercraft Inspirations to publish a card from me!

That’s it for today! I’ll be back next Saturday!
