Hi there! I hope you are all having a lovely day! πŸ™‚
Today I’m sharing a card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge! This week’s challenge is so much fun! I adore this theme!
This week’s challenge is …

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog
April Shower and/or Spring Flowers
This week we are all using Hero Arts products, but you don’t have to use them necessarily to join the challenge :).
For the card I used, I started out with Mandarin Layering Papers from Hero Arts and I cut it down to a 4,25 inch by 4,25 inch card. Then I used an embossing folder from Sizzix to give the paper some texture.
After I did that, I took a piece of Neenah White Paper and I cut two squares and a rectangle out of it. I wanted to use the ombre look on a card for a while now so I finally did! πŸ™‚ I first stamped flowers and a sentiment from the Everyday Sayings Stamp Set from Hero Arts on the shapes with Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder from American Crafts. Then I took my Ink Blending Tool and Butter Bar ink to create the ombre look. It’s super easy and fun to do!
That’s a bit more about the card I created! Be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog to check out what the Design Team has made and to enter the challenge because the lovely Heidi is giving a $50 voucher to spend in the Simon Says Stamp Store away to one lucky winner!

Thanks for visiting! πŸ™‚

Hello there! Before I’m going to talk about the card, I’m happy to announce you some good news!
A couple of days ago, the super sweet Jennifer McGuire sent me an e-mail asking if I would be interested in doing a special guest post in the next Online Card Class His & Hers. Of course I said yes! I’m so happy and honored that Jennifer asked me! I still can’t believe it! πŸ™‚ THANK YOU Jennifer! πŸ™‚
Let’s move on to the card :).
For today’s card I really wanted to use sequins because it’s a big trend lately in the wonderful card making world. I knew I had some from a couple of years ago in my craft boxes so I went looking for them and I found a baggie of sequins (actually I didn’t exactly found a baggy, there were sequins mixed up with other shiny butterflies and hearts and other shapes so I spend about 30 minutes collecting the sequins, lol, it was worth it though). So I used some silver sequins to fill up a heart that I die cut using my number one favorite die cut set which is the Lawn Fawn Heart Set!
I did some paper piecing first using scraps of various paper pads using my favorite crafty colors which is soft blues and greens. I also stamped a sentiment from the Year Round Stamp Set from Hero Arts and I stamped it using Tide Pool Ink from Hero Arts.
That’s it for today! πŸ™‚ I hope you are all having a great day and I’ll be back tomorrow!
See you then πŸ™‚

Hello! Happy Saturday!
For today’s card I wanted to join a challenge. I decided to join the 10 Minute Craft Dash #15 on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog by Paulina. Let me tell you, making a card in ten minutes is really difficult. But I succeed! I created this card in 8 minutes and 59 seconds. For the layout of this card, I used a sketch from the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog.
I used patterned paper from the Lucky Charm Paper Pad from Dear Lizzy for this card. That paper pad is perfect for this challenge because it has all the colors in it. For the sentiment I used the Year Round Stamp Set from Hero Arts and I embossed it using American Crafts White Embossing Powder.
Anyhow, be sure to watch the video to see all the details! πŸ™‚
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you very soon!
