Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2015 will bring you lots of happiness, love and friendship. As my New Year’s gift to you, I decided to film an updated craft room tour. Lately, I have been posting a few peeks of my craft room on my Instagram account and a bunch of people have asked me to do a new and updated craft room tour. A few things have changed since my previous craft room tour including my stamp storage system.

By now you probably know I love to decorate my craft room. My decor has been switched up many times already, but this time I feel like it is finished and that I shouldn’t switch it up again. The color scheme of my craft room is pretty neutral with pops of color here and there. If you follow me on Pinterest you probably noticed my “Craft Room” board already. I recently updated this with all of the storage units and decoration I currently have.

One of the things I didn’t switch up that much are my storage systems. However, I do have a new container for my stamps and die cuts. You probably have heard about these containers trough Jennifer McGuire (that’s how I discovered them!). I use Fridge Binz and they are awesome. What I like the most about them is that they are big and sturdy enough to hold a lot of stamp and die cut sets. By the way, if you live in Europe and are afraid that you can’t purchase trough Amazon, check out Amazon DE. They ship to most European countries. 🙂

INK SWATCHES

In this video, you saw my ink swatches. I created my own little charts and stamped the ink color on there using a solid stamp from Winnie & Walter. You can download these swatches by clicking HERE. This is an editable file.

Good morning everybody! 🙂 Today I am here with another haul video. It has been a while since I uploaded one, but since I discovered a new online craft shop I thought I’d upload another one. Be sure to keep on reading because I will be talking about that online shop!

SCROBBY.NL

As I mentioned in the beginning of this blog post, I discovered a new and trendy online craft shop. Scrobby (love that name!) is a company based in the Netherlands. They offer a big assortment of goodies for scrapbooking, card making, art journals and mixed media. This online shop is well-known for their splendid service. One of the things I like the most about them is their shipping. Your order will be shipped on the same day if you order before 4.00 pm CET time. 🙂

(By the way, Scrobby didn’t ask me to do this blog post. I decided to talk about them since I received a lot of questions from Belgian and Dutch card makers concerning crafty online shops.)

UPCOMING TREND

After filming this haul video, I noticed that diamonds and stars are very much in trend in card making land. 🙂 I’ve also noticed this while I was working on my “Stationery” inspiration board on Pinterest.

Hello everyone. It’s Saturday again and that means it’s time for another Saturday Stamp Day video. Oh boy, I have been trough a lot to upload this video. First, I didn’t have any mojo. Next, I got my mojo back but the lighting outside was so bad that I couldn’t film. After a long wait, I was finally able to film the video. Then when I tried uploading it, my MacBook crashed. My MacBook is still broken so my dad is taking a look at it. In the meantime, I uploaded and edited my video on our other computer. Phew. What a day.

For today’s card I used the fairly new Monster Party stamp set from Create A Smile. This stamp set makes me oh-so happy. These monsters are too adorable for words. The best part? They don’t look scary at all. 🙂

First, I colored my favorite monster of the stamp set using Copic markers. A lot of people are looking for a good combination of pink Copic markers and I think I finally found one that most of you will like. The colors I used are RV0000, RV11 and RV13. If you use these colors on Simon Says Stamp ultra heavy weight cardstock, you’ll end up with a perfect, pink and blended image. After coloring the cute monster, I created a fun and colorful tag to go with it. This time I used the Stitched Tags die cut set from Pretty Pink Posh. I love this die cut set and I’ve used it many times already. I heat embossed balloons on the tag from the same Monster Party stamp set along with my favorite white embossing powder.

Since I wanted to go for a bright and bold look on this card, I blended in two different colors of Distress Ink on the tag. I simply masked off each area using Eclipse Masking paper. Afterwards, I adhered some white pom pom twine from Pretty Pink Posh on the tag. It’s so pretty and it’s also available in different colors than white. To finish off the card, I adhered Pretty Pink Posh sequins that match the color of the monster and the tag. Oh and I also adhered these teeny tiny Silly Eyes from PPP on the card. I like these googly eyes so much. They are quite unique since the pupils are very small instead of large than other googly eyes. They are awesome!

That’s it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll be back next week with another video for you in collaboration with my dear friend, Laurel Beard.

XO
