Hi, friends! Welcome to my 10,000 YouTube Subscribers Video Hop. I have been looking forward to this event for over a month now. When I first hit 10,000 YouTube subscribers, I thought I was dreaming. I am so grateful and humbled to have such amazing subscribers like you. In honor to celebrate this milestone, I invited lots of talented designers to make videos for my video hop. I truly look up to these ladies and they never fail to inspire me. On top of that, I reached out to my favorite companies. They have been really generous and offered some really nice giveaways. Isn’t this super exciting?!

Be sure to watch the video or read the bottom of this blog post for more information about the giveaways.

In today’s video, I’ll be showing you how to create a fun fall themed slider card with the Jump For Joy set from Lawn Fawn.

video-hop-full-cardI started out by stamping images from the Jump For Joy set from Lawn Fawn with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Copic friendly card stock. After coloring and die cutting the critters, I added color to the leaves in one simple step. This set comes with an outline and a solid leaf. I colored the outline leaf by stamping the solid leaf on top. I used some ink pads from The Ton to ink up each leaf. This ink is simply amazing and can be used for stamping and blending!

I did some masking to create a fun scene. For the pink sky, I used Rose Quartz ink. For the grass, I used Everglade Moss ink. As I mentioned before, these inks from The Ton rock. They can be easily used for ink blending. These blend like butter.

Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques and pretty powders make it even more fun. For my sentiment, I used Opaque Bright White powder from WOW. This is my favorite white embossing powder ever. I also used some Metallic Gold Rich Sparkle powder to add a gold touch to this project. 🙂

Like I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I created a slider. To be honest, I didn’t do very well because I totally messed up the steps! In the end, it worked out and it looks cute but I just messed up some of the steps. Before adhering your slider piece (in this case the fall scene) to your notecard, you have to put your penny between these two layers. Otherwise you have to slide your penny in the track and that can easily damage your stamped or colored scene. Be sure to watch THIS video for more info on slider cards. Sorry about messing it up!

Happy Saturday, everybody! While I was browsing through my stamps, I saw the Mermaid For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I only used it once this far, so I decided to pull it out again to create a fun mermaid card. Lots of ideas popped into my head when I was looking at the set. I finally decided I wanted to make a dreamy mermaid tag with a stencil, embossing paste and glitter.

I just love how dreamy and sparkly the mermaid tag looks! The best part? It wasn’t even that hard to make. Simply die cut a tag or any other shape and grab the Madison stencil from Winnie & Walter. I created my own colored embossing paste with white embossing paste from Wendy Vecchi with three different Distress Ink colors. After creating my ombré pattern, I added a little bit of Clear Rock Candy glitter from Tim Holtz.

waving-hello-full-cardNext, I colored a couple of images from the Mermaid for You set from Lawn Fawn. I did some really basic and easy coloring with the Copic Sketch Markers. Be sure to watch the video for more tips on how to do some fast but pretty coloring!

waving-hello-close-upLately, I’m really into vellum and banners. So for today’s project I decided to combine these two! I heat embossed a gold sentiment with Metallic Gold Rich Sparkle from WOW on a piece of vellum. After assembling the card, I added some sparkle here and there with some pretty sequins from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards and with some clear sequins from The Ton.

That’s it for this week’s Saturday Stamp Day video. Thanks so much for watching. See you soon! Xo

Happy Saturday! It has been way too long since I shared a Saturday Stamp Day video but since I’m fully enjoying my Summer Break, my video series is back from hiatus! 🙂 In today’s video I am creating a slider card with the brand new Slide on Over dies from Lawn Fawn along with the Mermaid For You set.

In total I almost spent 2 hours on this project but I had tons of fun doing different techniques. I started out by creating an underwater scene by die cutting a rectangle using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles dies. I wanted to add an extra mermaid/ocean touch so I went ahead and die cut a border using the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 dies.

ssd-waving-hello-fullI blended the underwater scene with different Distress Inks. Like I mentioned in the video, I used watercolor paper. Watercolor paper works so well to blend the Distress Inks! After the Distress Ink was dry, I pressed my Versamark ink pad onto the blue part and sprinkled on Neutral Ultra Shimmer EP from WOW. This gives a very shimmery and sparkly background which is totally mermaid material! 😉

I colored some images from the Mermaid For You and the Fintastic Friends set from Lawn Fawn with Copics and I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

ssd-waving-hello-closeupAt first I was a bit intimated to create a slider card. I did one a while ago, but this was the first time I used the Slide on Over dies from Lawn Fawn. First, I die cut the shape and then I turned my piece of paper around. I put the penny in the middle so I could figure out how to build my border of foam adhesive to make sure the penny doesn’t fall out. Like I mentioned in the video, I applied some kitchen flour to make sure the penny doesn’t stick to the edges of the foam adhesive. Be sure to watch the video for more information on this technique!

That’s it for now! Thanks so much for reading today’s post and for watching my video. See you soon! xo

Happy Saturday, friends! Today is an extra special day because this month is filled with MISTI May-nia. Iliana, from My Sweet Petunia, inventor of the MISTI is giving away a Mini MISTI every day in May. Isn’t that just amazing? The best part is that I get to give one away! You can find the giveaway details below.

In today’s Saturday Stamp Day video I used the Rooting For You set from Lawn Fawn along with the Mini MISTI tool to create a super fun and quick shaker card.

ssd-full

First, I positioned the solid layers of the turnip, carrot and beet on my paper with the Mini MISTI tool from My Sweet Petunia. This way I could stamp those layers really fast! In case the first layer didn’t stamp that well, I could have just inked up the stamp again and stamp my image one more time since it’s still in the exact same position. After I finished my first layer, I did the exact same thing using the other stamps. I could have easily mass produced this card but since I didn’t have that much time, I only made one card. It could be really fun, though! 🙂

closeup

It has been a while since I created a sequin shaker. I used the little garden tag from the Rooting for You die cut set from Lawn Fawn as my base. Then, I mixed different sequins in a little bowl and I grabbed some plastic sheets from We R Memory Keepers. After folding it in two to create a nice crease, I fused two lines so that the top was still open. This way I could easily fill up my sequin shaker. Finally, I fused the top and then my teeny tiny shakers were finished! I finished off my card with some cute patterned paper and with some sequins that match with the sequin shaker! 🙂

That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by! xo
