Hi friends! Today I’m guest posting over at the Sunny Studio Stamps blog. Sunny Studio is one of my favorite companies as I just love their cute stamps. 😍 For today’s guest post, I decided to use the Sliding Window die and the Home Sweet Gnome set to create a cute pop up card.

Here’s a picture of the finished card! Make sure to visit the Sunny Studio blog for more information and pictures. Simply click HERE. I hope to see you there. 💛

Hello everyone! We’re suffering from a heat wave here in Belgium and seeing Sunny Studio’s Fall 2018 Release, makes me long for autumn. 🍁 🍂 I can’t wait for cooler temperatures and overall sweater weather.

In today’s video I’m doing some autumn inspired ink blending using Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Mini Distress Inks. I’m also pairing the brand new Fall Kiddos and Happy Harvest sets from Sunny Studio. These images are simply adorable and are so much fun to color.

First I masked off a border at the top and bottom of my card. I cut a piece of Heffy Doodle Memo Tape in half. Easy and fast! You could also use masking paper or sticky notes. Whatever works for you! 😀 Then I ink blended a pretty background with Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Mini Distress Inks.. Like I mentioned in the video, take your time to blend away. Also make sure your blending foam is saturated with ink.

Next I colored images from the Fall Kiddos and Happy Harvest sets from Sunny Studio. I used Copic Sketch Markers. I adore coloring with these markers. In the past I was always scared to color with alcohol markers because it seemed quite intriguing at first. Totally unnecessary because coloring is so relaxing and therapeutic!

After stamping a sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I added a coat of sparkle to the images with a Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen. Out of all the glitter pens I tested, this one is my favorite. It is the sparkliest in my opinion and it looks even better with a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze on top! 💫 To finish off this card, I applied some Tonic Nuvo Drops here and there.

That’s it for now. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon! 😘

Happy Monday, friends! When I first started card making, heat embossing was one of the first techniques I learned. For today’s card, I decided to pick out some shades of turquoise glitter embossing powder and make an ombre background. The Basic Backgrounds stamp set from Sunny Studio is a great set to make stunning backgrounds. 💛

I used three different embossing powders from Wow! Embossing Powder: Atlantic Seaspray, Under the Sea and Long Island Teal. All of these powders have a beautiful gold glitter. 😍 Sadly enough, I wasn’t able to catch the gorgeous sparkle on camera but I guarantee you… it’s so pretty in real life.

I colored some images from the adorable Beach Babies set from Sunny Studio. I really like how the hair turned out! Like I mentioned in the video, I learned a lot from the free Markers 101 coloring class from Kit and Clowder. I recommend checking it out since it’s FREE! 🌈

To finish off the card, I used Tonic Nuvo Drops. Honestly, I’ve had these for a while but I’ve always been too scared to actually use them! Because once you apply the product to your card, it’s there to stay – LOL! 😄 However, I got over the fear and just started to have fun with them. Nowadays, I apply the Nuvo Drops randomly and just stop whenever it feels right.

That’s it for now, my friends. Thanks for stopping by. Sending big, big hugs! 💕

Hi, all! How are you doing? My Summer Break is nearby and I’m excited. 😄 I can’t believe I’ll finally be graduating as a preschool/kindergarten teacher. I’m already sending out my cover letter to nearby schools. Fingers crossed I can start working as a teacher in september. 🤞🏻🍀

In today’s video I’m showing you how to create an ink blended and stenciled beach scene featuring the Beach Babies set from Sunny Studio. These cute images are so much fun to color. ☀💛

I started out by stamping and coloring some of the images from the Beach Babies set. While coloring I noticed I need to expand my Copic marker collection for more skin tones and hair colors. Do you have any recommendations? After I was done coloring these kids, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, it was time to ink blend the beach scene with Distress Ink and masking paper. I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China for the ocean. For the sand, I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. I added more dimension to these pieces with a stencil and brown Copic markers.

Finally, I stamped a sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I curved this clear stamp so it would match the circle shape. To finish this card off, I added a coat of sparkle with the Clear Overlay Spectrum Noir Pen and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze. 💫

That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by. Big hugs. 💌
