Happy Friday, friends! On Wednesday I shared a watercolored flower card in honor of The Ton’s Spring 2018 Release. At the time when I made this card, I was feeling sick and couldn’t do a video. However, I’m feeling much better so I made another watercolored flower card. This time with a video. ❤ Especially for you!

In this video, I’m showing you how to do easy watercoloring with ZIG Clean Color Real Markers. I only used one marker for each shade and a water brush. If I can do this, YOU can do it, too! 😀

I used the beautiful Peony Garden Cling Background stamp from The Ton. I heat embossed the design with WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. Think of all the other embossing powders you could use. The possibilities are endless.

Easy Watercoloring with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers

To do this easy and fast watercoloring, I recommend using a good watercolor paper. I always use the Canson XL Watercolor paper. It’s very heavy weight (140lb) and can handle a lot of water. These ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers are perfect for fast watercoloring since you only need to use one color for each shade. For this card I used Yellow, Light Carmine and Light Green.

First I laid down some color to the flowers. I usually apply the color to the top or bottom edges of the design. Then I used a Pentel Aquash Brush to blend out the colors. Any water or paintbrush will work, though! Next, I went back in with the same marker to add a little bit of extra shading here and there. Finally I did some more blending to remove any harsh lines and create a nice and smooth gradient. Easy!

Once the watercolor piece was dry, I die cut a sentiment from the Bold General Greeting Word Plate set from The Ton. I adhered some gold glitter card stock to the back of that paper and put everything together. Quick and easy just like the watercoloring. In total this card took me about 30 minutes to make. Pretty quick, right? 😊

That’s it for now. Make sure to leave a comment if you have any questions. Big hugs. 💌

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I’m joining The Ton’s Spring 2018 Release Blog Hop. I was originally going to share a video tutorial on this card. However, I’m suffering from a big cold and a super sore throat so I’m unable to do a voice-over. I’m sorry! 🤒 But don’t worry. I’ll share new videos once I feel better.

The Spring 2018 Release is filled with floral designs including dahlias, peonies and roses. In total, there are 14 new stamps, coordinating dies and 5 standalone dies. Good news! There are up to two free gifts with purchases (GWP). For more information on The Ton’s incentive gifts, head over to The Ton’s blog. New release products can be purchased now and all new release orders will begin to ship on Monday, April 9.

The Ton's Spring 2018 Release Blog Hop Featuring Coming Up Dahlias

I’m showcasing the Coming Up Dahlias set. I adore the delicate design. I stamped the flower design twice on Canson Watercolor Paper. Then I colored the flowers and leaves with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used only three colors: Peach Pink, Orange and Light Green. I like the fact that you need only one color and a water brush for some brilliant shading. Well. I’m not saying my coloring is brilliant. 🤪 I still need a lot of practice. My friend Effie on the other hand, does the most beautiful watercoloring ever.

Once the watercolor piece was completely dry, I die cut a sentiment from the Bold General Greeting Word Plate set from The Ton. Next I adhered a piece of gold glitter card stock on the back of the floral piece. Easy! To finish off this card, I sprinkled some sequins here and there. I used Medallion Gold, Guava Shortcake, Precious Pink and Glass Slippers sequins from The Ton.

Hi everybody! I’m thrilled to be back with another video and two cards in honor of The Ton’s Summer 2017 Release Blog Hop. The Ton has 24 new stamps for their new Summer 2017 Release which includes up to four free gifts with purchases. For more information on The Ton’s incentive gifts, head over to The Ton’s blog. All new release products are available now!

I decided to showcase the Beer stamp set and the Sunnies stamp set. First, I’ll be showing you the Father’s Day card I made with the Beer stamp set. I’m pretty sure my dad will love this set since he’s a Belgian beer lover.

This card is super clean and simple, but I did add some pops of sparkle with sparkly embossing powder and a variety of The Ton’s sequins (Spotlight Couture Mix and Glass Slippers). Even though this is a Father’s Day card, I couldn’t resist! My dad knows that I’m sequin and glitter obsessed so I’m sure he won’t mind! 😉

Stamping the beer was a lot of fun! I like to use my MISTI tool whenever I’m using a layering stamp set since it makes it just so much easier. Especially if you’re going to be mass producing designs! For the body of the beer I used The Ton’s Citrine Ink Collection. For the handle I used Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. Finally, I used Noir for the sentiment.

For my second card, I wanted to feature the adorable new Sunnies stamp set. I created a collage style card by mixing different stamp sets. I used the Darling Flamingos, Macarons and Fresh Cut Peonies sets from The Ton. I just love these different images together! It looks pretty cute! I used some clear and sparkly embossing powder for a glossy finish on the sunglasses. I finished off the design with a variety of sparkly sequins. By the way, if you’re looking for a detailled supply list, just scroll all the way down.

Hello, everybody! How are you doing? Do you have any plans for the upcoming Easter festivities? I plan on eating some delicious Easter eggs and relax at home.

Today I have been playing with both the Beautiful Butterflies 1 stamp set from The Ton as well as the new Marvelous Perfumes stamp set. I thought it would be nice to combine these two sets to create a super feminine and classy card. I was inspired by various perfume ads to create and stamp this design.

I started out by stamping the perfume bottle with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using My Sweet Petunia’s mini MISTI. Then, I stamped the smallest butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies 1 stamp set from The Ton with four different ink pads: Soft Garnet, Rose Quartz, Peach Blossom and Vanilla Frosted Cupcake.

I colored the perfume bottle with Y000 and Y02. For the peachy detail I used Y21 and YR21. I also used N0 and the Colorless Blender to add some slight shading under the perfume bottle for extra dimension. I added Clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for some extra sparkle!

I finished off this classy design with pretty sequins from the Coral Necklace Couture Mix from The Ton. I mixed it with some Lemon Chiffon sequins for extra contrast.

That’s it for now! Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice Easter weekend and enjoy the chocolate! Xo
