Good morning, friends! A while ago, I posted a picture on my Instagram account of Craft Kit 20 from Tonic Studios. Yesterday, I finally had the chance to play with these goodies! I decided to use the Exclusive Dragonfly Box Die Cut Set to create an elegant Easter Egg Treat Box. 😄

First, I die cut the shape to create the gift box twice out of the Green Leaves Specialty Card. I wanted to create some windows so you could see what’s inside the box. To do that, I used three of the gorgeous swirling pattern dies. I adhered acetate squares to the back of each panel for extra support.

Next, I stamped and die cut six ladybugs from the Exclusive Dragonfly Box Stamp Set. I stamped each ladybug on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card in Nuvo Black Shadow Ink. 🐞

After coloring the ladybugs with Copic Sketch Markers, I added some sparkle with a Nuvo Glitter Gloss Shimmer Pen. Finally, I adhered a couple of the Champagne Shine Sequins with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. To finish this box off, I applied a tiny dot of White Blizzard Glitter Drops to some of the sequins. 😄

That’s it for now. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and video! 💛 Thanks for stopping by. Sending big hugs.

Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a card made with Tonic’s 18th Craft Kit called ‘Dream in Color’. With shades of lilac, fuchsia, turquoise and apricot, this kit is simply gorgeous. 😍 For more information about this Tonic Craft Kit, click HERE.

When I first opened this kit, I instantly fell in love with the beautiful papers and intricate die cuts. I decided to use one of the Secret Garden dies and Neenah Solar White card stock to create my own stencil.

DIY Stencil + Ombré Glitter (Tonic Craft Kit Issue 18 - Dream in Color)

The color scheme of this Craft Kit inspired me to create an ombre lilac background. I smeared the Spring Heather ink pad on my craft mat and mixed it with Moonstone Glimmer Paste to create my own color. I applied the Moonstone paste on the top and then used my spatula to create a nice blend between the two colors.

After letting the Glimmer Paste dry overnight, I trimmed down the piece to 4″ by 5 1/4 ” and adhered it on one of the patterned papers from the Dream In Colour 6×6 Paper Pad. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Secret Garden stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish off this card, I applied Tonic Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops and Nuvo Supernova Dream Drops.

That’s it for now. Thank you so much for stopping by. I’ll see you soon. 💜💌
