Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing an autumn inspired card made with the Little Bear Set from Unity Stamps and Distress Ink. Autumn is my favorite season. What is yours? 🍂🍁❤️

Make sure to watch the video below for tips and tricks. Scroll all the way down for a linked supply list.

First, I stamped the bear from the Little Bear Set from Unity Stamps (available for purchase later today or get it as a FREEBIE with your order!) on Canson Watercolor Paper with Archival Jet Black Ink. I colored the bear with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a Pentel Aquash Brush. To be honest, the quality of this water brush has been a bit disappointing to me, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to share!

After covering the colored bear with masking paper, I used Distress Ink to create my autumn inspired blend: Ripe Persimmon, Fossilized Amber and Seedless Preserves. For the grass, I used the Grassy Border Stencil from My Favorite Things and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. To create realistic looking trees, I used the Into the Woods Stencil from Winnie & Walter and Black Soot Distress Ink.

To finish off the card, I added shine with a Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen and a coat of Crystal Glaze.

That’s it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by. Sending big hugs! ❤️🥰

Hello, friends! Welcome to another card making video tutorial. Today I’m showing you how to do super smooth Distress Oxide Ink Blending with cheap make-up brushes and an adorable stamp set from Unity Stamp Company.

First, I stamped the adorable cake image from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set from Unity Stamp Company with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also stamped and heat embossed a speech bubble from the Stackable Cuties Stamp Set from Mama Elephant. I didn’t heat emboss the cake until I finished Copic Coloring since embossing powder damages your alcohol markers. So make sure not to heat emboss your images before coloring them!

Distress Oxide Ink Blending with CHEAP Make-up Brushes and Unity Stamps

After covering up the colored cake with masking paper, I used six colors of Distress Oxide Ink to create a colorful background: Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I also used the Medium Dots Stencil from Simon Says Stamp to add some polkadots to this background using the same colors of Distress Oxide Ink. I just applied them a little bit heavier to create contrast.

The brushes I used to do the ink blending are LIFE CHANGING! 😍 Lately I’ve been seeing these brushes in almost every single card making video tutorial so of course I had to give them a shot. I used super cheap, inexpensive make-up brushes from a Belgian shop called Action. I think I’ll be planning another visit to that shop soon to stock up on even more of these brushes since I love them so much! 😄

Finally, I adhered color coordinated sequins and added sparkly dots with Tonic Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops. I also used a Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze for extra shine and dimension.

That’s it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by. I’ll see you soon! 💕

Happy Wednesday, friends! While I was brainstorming and looking through my stash, I noticed my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers haven’t been getting enough attention lately. 😄 So, I decided to combine them with the Moments of Bliss Stamp Set from Unity Stamp Company.

Make sure to watch the video below to see how I did this sparkly watercoloring.

First, I stamped one of the butterflies from the Moments of Bliss Stamp Set from Unity with Archival Jet Black Ink on Canson Watercolor Paper. I stamped over the black butterfly with Versamark, sprinkled on Clear Embossing Powder from WOW and heat set it.

Next, I watercolored the butterfly with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a Pentel Aquash Pen. In the video, I explain how to do this. To add the sparkle and to create beautiful blended colors, I used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen in Clear Gloss.

To finish off this card, I adhered some Glass Slippers Sequins from The Ton and applied Tonic Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard.
