Hello, dear friends. 💛 As promised, I’m back today with two new cards. Same technique and same design, BUT two different color schemes. 😄

In the video I’m showing you how to make masked, ink blended, emboss resist background panels. I used the Marbleize and Bed of Roses stamps from Winnie & Walter. These are 3×4 little background stamps and are perfect to experiment with a bunch of different techniques.

For my ink blended panels, I used Distress Oxide inks. These blend like butter. I’m so amazed at their pigment. So far I have seven colors, but I think I’ll be expanding my collection pretty soon. 😍 These are truly fabulous. For the yellow/green card I used Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron. Combined with the Marbleize stamp, this card looks so modern!

For the flower version of the card, I combined Picked Raspberry with Spiced Marmalade (not *dried* as I said in the video, lol). I used the Bed of Roses stamp for this design. 🌹

After finishing the backgrounds, I colored the pair of dogs from the Dog-gone Cute stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I love that poodle and corgi together. They look so cute! I colored these dogs with Copic Markers. I kept it very simple by only using two markers per color.

I used the Katharine Cutaways die cut set from Winnie & Walter to make sentiment banners. Of course you could just cut these with scissors but I had these dies on hand so it was quick and easy! 😀 I heat embossed the sentiments on the paper banners with Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder from WOW. Finally, I finished off my cards with a coat of sparkle using the Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen and a layer of Crystal Glaze from Tonic. ✨

That’s it for now. Thanks so much for stopping by. Big hugs. 💕

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m enjoying my second week of my internship at Kindergarten and I’m having so much fun. I also love the fact that I’m finally able to have some crafty time in the weekends. This weekend I played some more with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from Tonic. In this video, I’ll be showing you how to create an emboss resist background with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. Super fun! 💛

First I embossed an adorable heart background using the Seeing Hearts stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I used my favorite white embossing powder from Wow. After applying masking paper to my card, it was time to create the background. I simply took a small amount of paste from the jar and started working it around until it softened enough. I also added a tiny bit of water to make the ink blending smoother. Make sure to use a small amount of water since we’re not using watercolor card stock here! The colors I used are called Spring Green and Aquamarine. They’re gorgeous!

I let this background dry for about 15 minutes. There was a little bit of paste left on the embossed hearts so I took a baby wipe and wiped that away. Easy! I colored the bunny and cat from the Welcome to the Family set from Winnie & Walter with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

To finish off this card, I die cut a speech bubble from the Sketchy Thoughts die cut set from Winnie & Walter. I embossed a sentiment and then put everything together with foam squares. I also stamped a sentiment from the Sending You set from Winnie & Walter and adhered a tiny die cut heart next to it. Finally, I used my Nuvo Shimmer Pen and Crystal Glaze to add extra dimension and shine to the heart. ⭐

I’m loving this product and I can’t get enough of it. Have you tried out this product? I’ll be back soon. Thanks for stopping by. Big hugs. 💌

Hi! I’m here with another card and video tutorial. 💛 Today’s blog post is part of Winnie & Walter’s 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop to Celebrating Love and Friendship. I’m grateful to be part of the Winnie & Walter Design Team. Shay’s kindness warms my heart and of course I’m in love with Winnie & Walter’s product style.

In today’s video I’m showing you how to make a fun love and friendship themed card featuring True Dotty Heart Cutaways and Dog-gone Cute with Evelin T Designs. These two products are part of the brand new February 2018 Release. I also used the Katharine Cutaways. This is an oldie but goodie. One of my favorite die cut sets ever.

I started out by die cutting lots of images. First I die cut the stitched heart out of a scrap of bright green card stock. I die cut the scalloped heart out of white card stock. I love that one! It reminds me of a doily. I pieced both hearts together using my favorite craft glue from Tonic.

For the card base I used Taffy card stock from Bazzill along with patterned paper from Avery Elle. The designs and colors in this paper pad are so much fun. Lots of rainbow colors! 🌈 I’m slowly getting over pastel colors these days. However, they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I did some simple Copic coloring on the dog from the Dog-gone Cute with Evelin T Designs stamp set. I’m not very good at coloring animals so that’s why I like to stick to some neutral grays. I heat embossed the sentiment with WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. Finally, I adhered everything together with foam squares and liquid adhesive and I added some sparkle with the Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Shimmer Pen and a coat of Crystal Glaze from Tonic. ✨

Hi again! Welcome to my second blog post of today. I’m joining Winnie & Walter for a fun blog hop in honor of World Card Making Day 2017. There are lots of festivities going on at the Winnie & Walter blog so make sure to check that out. If you’re hopping from blog to blog, you probably arrived from Rebecca Luminarias’ blog!

In this video, I’m showing you how to create a masked and watercolored winter scene with the Happy Owlidays with Evelin T Designs set from Winnie & Walter ( ELH | SSS | WNN ).

I started out by stamping and masking my tree scene. Whenever you’re masking, keep in mind that you have to stamp the image you want to be in front first. In my case, that was the biggest tree. Then you can use masks to build your scene. Watch the video to see it in action!

I colored the trees and the adorable trio of penguins with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a Pentel Aquash Brush. I like to use Canson Watercolor paper ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ) and Archival Jet Black ink ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) whenever I use these markers to color. After coloring all of the images, I created a watercolored winter sky with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ). I have links to the individual colors I used in the supply list below.

Once my watercolored piece was dry, I ran it through my die cutting machine using the Carly Cutaways from Winnie & Walter ( WNN ) to create a fun Christmas bauble shaped piece. Then I used a mask and Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Paste in Moonstone ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS | TNCUK ) to create pretty and glittery snow. Finally, I added more sparkle with a Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze ( SSS | AMZUS | TNCUK ).

GIVEAWAY

Make sure to leave comments along the hop because 5 random winners in total will be drawn. Each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Winnie & Walter shop. Good luck!
