Happy Saturday, everybody! School has started again for everybody here in Belgium, except for college and university students like me! I’ll be going back to college on September 18th, so I thankfully have some relaxing time left!

The Fall/Winter 2017 Release from Lawn Fawn is available for purchase at most online shops, so I thought I’d share a holiday card made with the Beary Happy Holidays set ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS | HLM ). I pre-ordered mine at Erwtje.be which is an online crafty shop in Belgium. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re a local.

I used the Carly Cutaways die cut set from Winnie & Walter ( W&W ) to make a fun Christmas bauble shaped card. You could tie a bow and hang it in your Christmas tree, if you want! I didn’t have any ribbon that matched the colors of my card so I wasn’t able to do that, unfortunately.

I created a fun cool winter night sky with Tumbled Glass ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ), Broken China ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ) and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ). Lately I’ve been enjoying these inks. I never was really into them – except for watercoloring, but after playing around a bit I decided I want to do more ink blending. I stamped the snowflakes from the Beary Happy Holidays set with white pigment ink. However, it didn’t show up! So I had to improvise a bit by using white embossing powder ( ELH | SSS | WOW ) to heat emboss them and make them pop!

I used fun patterned paper from My Favorite Things ( ELH | SSS ) to add a pop of pattern behind the winter scene. I ¬†finished off the card with some shimmer and shine! I used the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) to add a bit of glitter to the fish and the bucket. It doesn’t show up on the picture, but I can assure you that it’s super sparkly in real life. In my opinion, even sparklier than ZIG’s Clear Wink of Stella pen. ūüôā

That’s it for now! Thanks for joining me today and I’ll see you soon. Xo

Hi, all! Happy Friday! Today I’m here with a brand new card and video in honor of the Winnie & Walter June 2017 Release Week featuring lots of cute sets. I’m particularly excited about all of the new critter sets! Those just make my heart happy. Today is Day No. 4 of Release Week so that means all of the products will be available for purchase shortly (06/30 at 10pm CST).

In this video I’m featuring the brand new and simply adorable Happy Dance with Evelin T Designs Set to create a watercolored birthday card.

I spent about an hour on this card since I did a bunch of watercoloring with Distress Inks and with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Like I mentioned in the video, coloring with these ZIG Markers is so easy, fun and very forgiving! I only used one color for each shade and look at that shading! Isn’t that easy? Just lay down some color and blend away with a water brush or a paint brush.

I stamped these images on Canson Watercolor Paper ( ELH | SSS | AMZ )¬†with Archival Jet Black Ink ( ELH | AMZ | SSS ). This is my favorite black ink for watercoloring techniques since it doesn’t smear or smudge. It’s a little bit trickier to stamp on textured card stock so make sure to use a MISTI tool ( ELH | AMZ | SSS ) for easy stamping or anything else that works for you! ūüôā

For the watercolored background, I used Tumbled Glass ( ELH | AMZ | SSS ), Peacock Feathers ( ELH | SSS | AMZ ) and Cracked Pistachio ( ELH | SSS | AMZ ) for some pops of mint here and there. I also added some water splatters with a Ranger Mister Tool. It’s a fun way to add an extra oomph to a watercolored background.

That’s it for now! Make sure to check out the Winnie & Walter blog for a bunch of inspiration featuring all of the new sets. You’ll be amazed! Thanks for stopping by! See you soon. Xo.
