Hi, friends! Today I have another card for you featuring Distress Inks. Lately I’ve been enjoying these inks so much. In this video, I’m showing you how to create a Fall inspired blended background and I’m featuring some stamps from My Favorite Things’ September 2017 Release.

I started out by masking off my white card stock to create a panel for my Fall scene. I used Carved Pumpkin ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ) to blend the background. It’s very important to really saturate your blending foam so you can do effortless and flawless blending!

After adding subtle water splatters, I stamped the trees from the Modern Trees stamp ( ELH | SSS | HLM ) with Archival Jet Black Ink ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ). The new Bitty Bears stamp set from My Favorite Things ( ELH | SSS | HLM )is simply adorable. I colored only two bears this time, but I’m planning on making more cards so I can use all of them!

This card came together relatively quick! After stamping a sentiment, all I had to do was add some shimmer and shine with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen ( ELH | SSS | AMZUS ) and Glossy Accents ( ELH | AMZUS | SSS ). I also adhered a cute die cut heart for an extra touch of cuteness!

That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll see you soon. Xo

Hi, everyone and welcome to Premiere Day No.  4 of Winnie & Walter’s January/February Release.

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make a watercolor card with the brand new Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs stamp set along with the Sending You with Evelin T Designs stamp set.

I enjoyed making this easy watercolored rainbow with Distress Inks. You don’t need expensive watercolors to make a pretty background. Mini Distress Inks are a great alternative! These mini cubes cost approximately $3 and you can use them for so many techniques such as ink blending, watercoloring, and more.

I once saw Kristina Werner using a laminated piece of white card stock as a Distress Ink palette. This is an easy way to see exactly what the color looks like on white paper. I smudged all of the colors I used on the palette and mixed the colors with water to create a rainbow. Be sure to add clear water to your piece of watercolor paper before adding the color. This will make sure that the colors move and blend so much easier.

I colored the elephants from the Welcome to the Family set with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. It took a while for me to understand how these makers work. I found that the color blend the easiest on watercolor paper. I recommend adding color with the marker on dry card stock and then blending it with a water or regular paint brush. You can repeat this step until you’re satisfied with the result.

I finished off my card by heat embossing a sentiment from the Sending You with Evelin T Designs stamp set with WOW Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder. This is by far my favorite glitter embossing powder. It’s clear so you can use it with any color! Finally, I finished off my card with enamel dots, clear sequins and die cut hearts.

That’s it for now. See you soon! Xo
