Hi, everyone and welcome to Premiere Day No.  4 of Winnie & Walter’s January/February Release.

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make a watercolor card with the brand new Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs stamp set along with the Sending You with Evelin T Designs stamp set.

I enjoyed making this easy watercolored rainbow with Distress Inks. You don’t need expensive watercolors to make a pretty background. Mini Distress Inks are a great alternative! These mini cubes cost approximately $3 and you can use them for so many techniques such as ink blending, watercoloring, and more.

I once saw Kristina Werner using a laminated piece of white card stock as a Distress Ink palette. This is an easy way to see exactly what the color looks like on white paper. I smudged all of the colors I used on the palette and mixed the colors with water to create a rainbow. Be sure to add clear water to your piece of watercolor paper before adding the color. This will make sure that the colors move and blend so much easier.

I colored the elephants from the Welcome to the Family set with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. It took a while for me to understand how these makers work. I found that the color blend the easiest on watercolor paper. I recommend adding color with the marker on dry card stock and then blending it with a water or regular paint brush. You can repeat this step until you’re satisfied with the result.

I finished off my card by heat embossing a sentiment from the Sending You with Evelin T Designs stamp set with WOW Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder. This is by far my favorite glitter embossing powder. It’s clear so you can use it with any color! Finally, I finished off my card with enamel dots, clear sequins and die cut hearts.

That’s it for now. See you soon! Xo

Happy Saturday, everybody! It’s been months since I recorded and posted a video. College has been keeping me extremely busy but since I’m enjoying my short Winter Break (I’ll be studying for exams next week, exams kick off on Jan. 16), I decided to film a new Saturday Stamp Day video. Yay!

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to do create a watercolored scene with the ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and cute stamps from Winnie & Walter.

Scroll to the bottom of this blog post for a detailled and linked supply list!

I had so much fun making this watercolored scene. I used the ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (no. 61 and no. 62). You can get these colors individually or you can buy one of their sets. These watercolors are a bit pricey but they’re high quality and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I stamped the Christmas/Winter scene with two new sets from Winnie & Walter. I used the Happy Owlidays with Evelin T Designs set for the branch, the Christmas ornaments and the sentiment. The adorable little birdie from the Season’s Tweetings with Evelin T Designs set is perfect for this card!

I colored all of the images with the ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. It takes a while to get used to these markers and it requires a lot of practice. There are a ton of crafters out there who can do magic with these markers! I still need a lot of practice but I think it looks pretty good! 🙂

That’s it for now! Thanks for checking out my blog post and for watching my video. I’m so thankful for your support and I hope you’re having a very Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays! Xo

Happy Saturday, friends! Do you have any fun things planned for the weekend? Everybody has gone back to school here, except for college and university students (yay!). My video hop is also coming closer and closer. Just two more days. I’m so excited and I cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

In this week’s Saturday Stamp Day video, I’m stamping and coloring a cute scene with a new to me company – Love Cynthia. These stamps are designed and France and produced in the United Kingdom for best quality product. In the video, I’m using the adorable Follow Your Heart set. Did you know I discovered this company through my sweet and talented friend Amy Lee aka The Craft Bunny?

Lately I’ve been focussing on the clean and simple card making style. I still find it quite hard to leave lots of white space on cards, but I think I did pretty good, right?

I’m not sure why the white embossed sentiment is barely visible on the photo. Sorry about that.

IMG_1466I started out by stamping and coloring one of the girls from the Follow Your Heart stamp set. I focussed on my coloring technique. Coloring the hair is probably one of the hardest things! However, with feathering motions and by using three colors, it was a pretty easy job!

IMG_1469I created a fun focal point with the Tag Buddies dies from CAS-Ual Fridays and some leftover patterned paper. Since the card was a little bit plain like that, I stamped the two cupcakes randomly on some white card stock. After coloring these cupcakes, it was time to make a sentiment banner. I scribbled the BG11 Copic Marker on some white card stock and heat embossed a sentiment with Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW. Finally, I assembled everything together and finished off with a bit of sparkle and shine here and there.

BLOG ERRORS

My blog is acting weird lately. I’m receiving errors non-stop and sometimes I’m unable to access my blog for hours. If you are experiencing the same error and can’t access my blog, know that I’m aware of this issue. I’m working hard behind the scenes to get it fixed as soon as possible. 🙂

VIDEO HOP

Remember, my 10,000 YouTube Subscribers Video Hop will take place on Monday, September 5th at 3 p.m. Standard European Summer Time. If my blog would be acting up, don’t worry because I covered all of the details in my video. See you then. Love you! Xo
