Happy Saturday, everybody! It’s been¬†months since I recorded and posted a video. College has been keeping me extremely busy but since I’m enjoying my short Winter Break (I’ll be studying for exams next week, exams kick off on Jan. 16), I decided to film a new Saturday Stamp Day video. Yay!

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to do create a watercolored scene with the ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and cute stamps from Winnie & Walter.

Scroll to the bottom of this blog post for a detailled and linked supply list!

I had so much fun making this watercolored scene. I used the ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (no. 61 and no. 62). You can get these colors individually or you can buy one of their sets. These watercolors are a bit pricey but they’re high quality and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I stamped the Christmas/Winter scene with two new sets from Winnie & Walter. I used the Happy Owlidays with Evelin T Designs set for the branch, the Christmas ornaments and the sentiment. The adorable little birdie from the Season’s Tweetings with Evelin T Designs set is perfect for this card!

I colored all of the images with the ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. It takes a while to get used to these markers and it requires a lot of practice. There are a ton of crafters out there who can do magic with these markers! I still need a lot of practice but I think it looks pretty good! ūüôā

That’s it for now! Thanks for checking out my blog post and for watching my video. I’m so thankful for your support and I hope you’re having a very Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays! Xo

Happy Saturday, friends! Do you have any fun things planned for the weekend? Everybody has gone back to school here, except for college and university students (yay!). My video hop is also coming closer and closer. Just two more days. I’m so excited and I cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

In this week’s Saturday Stamp Day video, I’m stamping and coloring a cute scene with a new to me company – Love Cynthia. These stamps are designed and France and produced in the United Kingdom for best quality product. In the video, I’m using the adorable Follow Your Heart set. Did you know I discovered this company through my sweet and talented friend Amy Lee aka The Craft Bunny?

Lately I’ve been focussing on the clean and simple card making style. I still find it quite hard to leave lots of white space on cards, but I think I did pretty good, right?

I’m not sure why the white embossed sentiment is barely¬†visible on the¬†photo. Sorry about that.

IMG_1466I started out by stamping and coloring one of the girls from the Follow Your Heart stamp set. I focussed on my coloring technique. Coloring the hair is probably one of the hardest things! However, with feathering motions and by using three colors, it was a pretty easy job!

IMG_1469I created a fun focal point with the Tag Buddies dies from CAS-Ual Fridays and some leftover patterned paper. Since the card was a little bit plain like that, I stamped the two cupcakes randomly on some white card stock. After coloring these cupcakes, it was time to make a sentiment banner. I scribbled the BG11 Copic Marker on some white card stock and heat embossed a sentiment with Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW. Finally, I assembled everything together and finished off with a bit of sparkle and shine here and there.

BLOG ERRORS

My blog is acting weird lately. I’m receiving errors non-stop and sometimes I’m unable to access my blog for hours. If you are experiencing¬†the same error and can’t access my blog, know that I’m aware of this issue. I’m working hard behind the scenes to get it fixed as soon as possible. ūüôā

VIDEO HOP

Remember, my 10,000 YouTube Subscribers Video Hop will take place on Monday, September 5th at 3 p.m. Standard European Summer Time. If my blog would be acting up, don’t worry because I covered all of the details in my video. See you then. Love you! Xo

Happy Saturday, everyone! How are you doing? Do you have any fun plans planned for the weekend? It’s been super hot here the past couple of days, so I’m just planning on staying inside. Seriously, even making this card made me sweat. Don’t you just hate that kind of weather?

Anyway, let’s move on to my card and video. In this week’s Saturday Stamp Day video, I’m making a playful wreath card with the Playful Pups set from Mama Elephant. I challenged myself by making a wreath card without using any flowers! It was harder than you’d expect, but the Playful Pups set was screaming my name so in the end it was really fun. ūüôā

IMG_1442I started out by coloring the pup, the bowl of food and the bones with Copic markers. My coloring technique is very easy. I use my darkest color first to add my first layer of shading. Don’t be afraid to add this color first! You can easily blend it out with the lightest color. After highlighting my image with the lightest color, I like to go back to my dark color to add extra pops of shading here and there.

IMG_1448I made a playful wreath with the tiny stamps from this set. I die cut a circle out of some white paper and used that as a guide. This makes the process easier and faster. For my sentiment, I created a fun banner. Since I wanted the color to match with the other images I already had, I scribbled the R43 Copic marker to the white card stock. After making sure that this ink was completely dry, I heat embossed a sentiment with the WOW Ultra Slow Drying Pad and their Opaque Bright White embossing powder. To finish off the card, I adhered some sequins from the Fruity Sorbet mix from Lucy’s Cards and some Glass Slippers sequins from The Ton.

That’s it for now! Thanks so much for watching my video and for reading today’s post. See you soon. ūüôā xo

Happy Saturday, everyone! How are you doing? I’m feeling so happy! My Colors and Cards class for Big Picture Classes is starting this Monday. Head over to my Instagram account to win a free month trial to take all BPC classes. Yay! And… I’m also super close to reaching 10,000 YouTube Subscribers. I will be hosting a video hop on September 5th with talented designers and guests to celebrate. So many fun things are happening! Anyway! It’s Saturday so that means it’s time for another Saturday Stamp Day card and video.

In this week’s Saturday Stamp Day video I’m creating a cherry blossom shaker card with goodies from The Ton.

This card came together so quickly. I enjoyed stamping the cherry blossoms from the “Wild Cherry Blossoms” stamp set from The Ton.

ssd-cherry-blossomsI started out by stamping my own patterned paper with the¬†“Wild Cherry Blossoms” stamp set from The Ton. I inked up the flowers in soft lavender, pink and blue tones. For the inside of the flowers, I used darker tones. In the video, I mention the colors I’m using. All of the ink pads I used, are linked in the supply list below.

ssd-cherry-blossoms-closeupIt’s been way too long since I created a shaker card. Today I created a shaker with the Fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers. This is such an easy tool to create¬†shaker cards fast! I filled up my shaker with Pink Peonies sequins from The Ton mixed with Crystal Flora and Glass Slipper sequins. Finally, I adhered a sentiment from the Basic Labels set from The Ton. ūüôā

That’s it for this week. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog post and watch my video. See you soon. Xo
