Hi, friends! Today I’m sharing an adorable pink card featuring the Cutieasaurus set from My Favorite Things.

I started out by creating my own patterned paper in two easy steps! First, I heat embossed the Scattered Hearts Background Stamp from My Favorite Things with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. Next, I added color with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I said it before and I’m going to say it again: these inks have won my heart. They blend so smoothly and are simply a joy to work with. 😍

Then, I cut a piece of Neenah White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 2″ and did some stamping with the Cutieasaurus stamp set from My Favorite Things. I colored the trees, plants and dinosaur using Copic Markers.

For the greeting, I stamped one of the sentiments using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Finally, I added sparkle with a Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Pen and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I also applied Tonic Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops.

Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a card made with Tonic’s 18th Craft Kit called ‘Dream in Color’. With shades of lilac, fuchsia, turquoise and apricot, this kit is simply gorgeous. 😍 For more information about this Tonic Craft Kit, click HERE.

When I first opened this kit, I instantly fell in love with the beautiful papers and intricate die cuts. I decided to use one of the Secret Garden dies and Neenah Solar White card stock to create my own stencil.

DIY Stencil + Ombré Glitter (Tonic Craft Kit Issue 18 - Dream in Color)

The color scheme of this Craft Kit inspired me to create an ombre lilac background. I smeared the Spring Heather ink pad on my craft mat and mixed it with Moonstone Glimmer Paste to create my own color. I applied the Moonstone paste on the top and then used my spatula to create a nice blend between the two colors.

After letting the Glimmer Paste dry overnight, I trimmed down the piece to 4″ by 5 1/4 ” and adhered it on one of the patterned papers from the Dream In Colour 6×6 Paper Pad. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Secret Garden stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish off this card, I applied Tonic Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops and Nuvo Supernova Dream Drops.

That’s it for now. Thank you so much for stopping by. I’ll see you soon. 💜💌

Hi everyone! Today I’m joining Heffy Doodle for a fun blog hop celebrating their first birthday. 💛 I’m featuring the Oceans of Love set along with the Bubble Waves stencil to create an adorable underwater scene card.

In the video, I’m showing you how to make this cute card. I did a bunch of techniques including ink blending, masking, Copic coloring, heat embossing and even a magic stencil technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire. Make sure to watch the video below.

I started out by doing some masking and ink blending to create the base of my ocean scene. For the bottom of the sea, I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. For the actual water, I used different shades of blue. Finally, I added more dimension to the sea with the Bubble Waves stencil from Heffy Doodle.

Oceans of Love (Heffy Doodle 1st Birthday Blog Hop)

I did some stamping with the Bubble Waves stencil. This is a great technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire. I simply sprayed the stencil with water, turned it around and pressed it onto the paper. To make sure I had a nice stamped impression, I used paper towel. I like how it turned out! 😀

Oceans of Love (Heffy Doodle 1st Birthday Blog Hop)

Aren’t these sea animals from the Oceans of Love set adorable?! I love them. For the sentiment, I did some heat embossing with Atlantic Seaspray and Clear Gloss embossing powder from WOW. To finish everything off, I added a coat of sparkle with a Crafter’s Companion Sparkle Pen. So far this is my favorite sparkle pen because of the amount of glitter it adds. 😍 I also used Crystal Glaze from Tonic for extra shine!

Hello, dear friends. 💛 As promised, I’m back today with two new cards. Same technique and same design, BUT two different color schemes. 😄

In the video I’m showing you how to make masked, ink blended, emboss resist background panels. I used the Marbleize and Bed of Roses stamps from Winnie & Walter. These are 3×4 little background stamps and are perfect to experiment with a bunch of different techniques.

For my ink blended panels, I used Distress Oxide inks. These blend like butter. I’m so amazed at their pigment. So far I have seven colors, but I think I’ll be expanding my collection pretty soon. 😍 These are truly fabulous. For the yellow/green card I used Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron. Combined with the Marbleize stamp, this card looks so modern!

For the flower version of the card, I combined Picked Raspberry with Spiced Marmalade (not *dried* as I said in the video, lol). I used the Bed of Roses stamp for this design. 🌹

After finishing the backgrounds, I colored the pair of dogs from the Dog-gone Cute stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I love that poodle and corgi together. They look so cute! I colored these dogs with Copic Markers. I kept it very simple by only using two markers per color.

I used the Katharine Cutaways die cut set from Winnie & Walter to make sentiment banners. Of course you could just cut these with scissors but I had these dies on hand so it was quick and easy! 😀 I heat embossed the sentiments on the paper banners with Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder from WOW. Finally, I finished off my cards with a coat of sparkle using the Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen and a layer of Crystal Glaze from Tonic. ✨

That’s it for now. Thanks so much for stopping by. Big hugs. 💕
