Hi, friends! Today I’m part of the WOW! Embossing Powder and Picket Fence Studios Collaboration Blog Hop. No blog hop would be complete without a giveaway, so keep on reading for more information! 😄

Make sure to watch the video below for tips and tricks on CLEAN & EASY masking and ink blending.

First, I stamped and colored the I Love Your Face Stamp from Picket Fence. Straight after coloring it, I used Clear Gloss WOW Embossing Powder over it to add gloss. Make sure to do this after coloring with alcohol markers. Otherwise you will damage the tips of your markers!

I did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxide Ink Pads. I used Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. These are such pretty shades!

Finally, I finished off my card with a Crafter’s Companion Sparkle Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

Giveaway

You could win 6 WOW! Embossing Powders of your choice along with a carry case. On top of that, Picket Fence is giving away a $50 gift certificate to their store. To enter the giveaway, you have to leave a comment on each blog post for a chance to win. The giveaway is open internationally. Winners will be announced the week of the 5th of August on both the WOW! Embossing Powder and Picket Fence Studio Blog. Good luck! 🍀

Pirate Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up Feat. Lawn Fawn Ahoy Matey Set

I decided to create a pirate themed pop-up card with Lawn Fawn’s Ahoy, Matey set. Those pirates are so much fun to color and I love all of the other small elements in this set to create unique scenes.

There are so many ways to customize the Scalloped Box Pop-Up card. Borders dies are a great way to switch up the inserts!
Also, these interactive cards look so much better with patterned paper. This time I used the Spiffy Speckles Petite Paper Pack from Lawn Fawn.

Hi, friends! On Monday, my crafty friend Marika visited me. We made a card together and had so much fun. 😄 We decided to make a Springtime Shaker Card with Hello Bluebird Stamps and Dies along with two terrific stencils from My Favorite Things.

Make sure to watch the video below for tips and tricks on how to make this card.

First, I stamped and colored images from the Springtime and McGregor’s Garden Stamp Sets from Hello Bluebird. Like I mentioned in the video, my coloring technique is beginner friendly and super fun to do!

Springtime Shaker Card with Hello Bluebird Stamps

Next, I created a scene with the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil from My Favorite Things along with their Grassy Edges Stencil. Of course I used Distress Oxide Inks to do the blending. These inks are such a joy to work with! 😍

Afterwards, I made the frame for my shaker using a die cut from the Stitched Rectangles Die Cut Set from Lawn Fawn. This time I used Scotch Foam Mounting Tape to add dimension instead of Fun Foam and liquid adhesive. However, both ways work! Finally, I filled up the shaker with the Pink Lemonade Couture Mix from The Ton along with Sparkling Clear and Lime Sorbet Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
