Hi friends! It’s Friday and I’m getting ready for a relaxing weekend filled with lots of card making. 😄 Today I’m part of the Heffy Doodle Winter Release Blog Hop. More information about the blog hop and GIVEAWAY can be found below.

In this video I’ll be showing you how to create a green gradient background with Heffy Doodle’s brand new Crosswalk stencil and the super fun Prehistorical Pals set

First, I created a green gradient background with the Crosswalk stencil. I used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks. This time I also added some water splatters. I simply sprayed some water in my hand and flicked it on the paper. Afterwards, I picked up the small puddles of water since I didn’t want to mess my card stock up.

Next, I stamped and colored two images from the Prehistorical Pals stamp set from Heffy Doodle. Isn’t this set simply adorable? I haven’t seen anything like this before! 😍

After die cutting a stitched rectangle from the Metric Stitched Rectangle die cut set, I heat embossed a sentiment with Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW. Finally, I assembled everything together and added some shine with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I also used Apple Green and Key Lime Tonic Nuvo Drops. Lots of green this time! 💚 That’s it for now. Make sure to read all information about the blog hop for a chance to win a prize!
