Hey, friends! Have you heard the news? Winnie & Walter have organized another Share the Love Week filled with challenges and giveaways! For this edition, we are featuring Essentials by Ellen products. Today I am participating in the Transparent Challenge. You can enter this challenge by clicking HERE. Lots of prizes are up for grabs! You can read more about that at the bottom of this blog post.

In today’s video, I am creating a colorful card with the LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs stamp set along with the Kindness with Evelin T Designs stamp set from Winnie & Walter.

I started out by creating the focal point of my card. I die cut a tag with the Katharine Cutaways from Winnie & Walter. After stamping and masking my images from the LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs stamp set from Winnie & Walter, I colored them with Copic markers.

sharetheloveweek-laura-full-cardNext, I used the Brushstroke Wonderful die to create a lovely sentiment piece for this card. I die cut it once out of glitter paper and then I die cut it once more out of some white Fun Foam. I finished off the sentiment by stamping “you are” with the Totally Awesome set from Essentials by Ellen.

closeupI thought the card looked a bit plain, so I used the Bokeh Dots set to stamp a colorful background. I also adhered a couple of clear sequins here and there to add a bit more interest. Since this is the Transparant challenge, I obviously needed to add something transparent. I grabbed a piece of vellum and adhered it to a standard size notecard. I also adhered a strip of patterned paper from Pinkfresh Studio. Finally, I felt like the card was missing something so I used that little reinforcement die with some washi tape to add more interest to the tag.

Hey friends! It’s Laura here and I am thrilled to be back with two cards and one video in honor of the Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop from The Ton. It’s so nice that this celebration happens to be planned  today because I just finished my exams and that means my Summer Break has officially kicked off! Effie – the owner of The Ton couldn’t have picked a better date to organise this blog hop. Ha! 🙂

Here is a full list of all the hoppers who are participating in this blog hop!

In today’s blog post I will be sharing one card with a video and an extra card without a video. For my first project, I used the brand new Sundae Bar stamp set. I mixed some ink colors together to create a soft ice cream background that matches my signature style.

I wanted to keep the design clean and simple by creating a background with the Sundae Bar stamp set. I paired up a couple of inks from The Ton. What I like about this stamp set is that these sundaes and popsicles are so easy to customize with the sprinkles stamps.

theton-summerhop-fullAfter finishing my background, I die cut a circle to create a sequin shaker. As usual, I created a pocket with the Fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers and I filled it up with a mix of sequins from The Ton. I spent quite a long time on mixing and matching sequins. I picked out colors that matched with the inks.

closeupEvery time I make a card for a blog hop for The Ton, I reach out to the Love and a Dog stamp set. It’s one of my favorite stamp sets. And every time I use that dog, I color him with a Copic N0 marker and there Colorless Blender. And every time I color that dog, I have to add the flower crown. Ha! 🙂 I just can’t resist it. I simply can’t use the dog without giving it a flower headband. Finally, I adhered a couple of sequins and I added a bit of Glossy Accents here and there.

card2For my second card, I used the Darling Flamingos stamp set from The Ton. A while ago, I asked Effie if she could design a flamingo layering stamp set and voila! She has outdone herself. It’s one of the most beautiful layering stamp sets I have ever seen and I was beyond excited to add it to my collection.

closeup2I really wanted to highlight the flamingo on this card so I stamped a few hearts behind it. Did you notice that the colors match the patterned paper perfectly? 😉 Don’t ask me how long I spent on finding the perfect combo. After all of the stamping and building my card up, I had to stamp a sentiment. I thought an all-pink sentiment would be too bright. So instead I stamped part of the sentiment in black and I heat embossed the other part of it with Florida Sunset embossing powder from WOW.

GIVEAWAY

Since this is a blog hop to celebrate the June 2016 Release from The Ton, I have a great giveaway to share with you! Four $25 gift certificates will be given away to random commenters on all the hop participant blogs. Comments must be left by Saturday, June 18 at 11:59pm. Winners will be announced shortly after. Good luck! 🙂

Hey, friends and happy Saturday to all of you! I am so glad to be sharing another Saturday Stamp Day video with you. A couple of days ago, the adorable and brand new Magical Unicorns set from My Favorite Things arrived. When I first saw this set, lots of ideas popped into my mind. So today I am sharing a cute and colorful sequin shaker card made with these unicorns.

Isn’t that stamp set the cutest? I had so much fun making this project!

magical-fullFirst, I stamped and colored one of the unicorns from the Magical Unicorns set from My Favorite Things. Lots of images come with this set so there are endless possibilities! I also colored one of the rainbow and clouds image with my Copic markers. Next, I created the focal point of this card. I die cut the cloud from the End of the Rainbow once and I added a bit of blue shading with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to give it a little bit of an extra touch. Afterwards, I die cut that cloud once more to create a fun and whimsical sequin shaker with the Fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers.

ssd-closeupAfter filling up the sequin shaker with a fun mix of sequins, I heat embossed a sentiment with Long Island Teal embossing powder from WOW. This is one of my favorite embossing powders because of the gorgeous aqua color mixed with the gold glitter. It’s absolutely stunning! Since this unicorn and rainbow were so cute, I wanted to add some colorful patterned paper. I used the Everyday Collection paper pad from Avery Elle. Finally, I finished off my card with some sequins, a bit of Wink of Stella Glitter and a touch of Glossy Accents!

That’s it for now! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by. xo
