Hi there! While I was purging my stamp sets, I came across the Follow Your Heart set from Love Cynthia. Oh my goodness, why haven’t I used this stamp set more? It’s simply adorable! 😍

In today’s video I’m showing you how to create an ink blended scene with Distress Oxide Ink for an airbrushed and super smooth effect.

First, I created the masks with masking paper from Simon Says Stamp along with the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the little girl from the Follow Your Heart stamp set from Love Cynthia using Archival Jet Black ink. I used that particular ink because it’s smudge and waterproof, which makes it PERFECT for ink blending.

Next, I used Distress Oxide ink pads to do the blending. For the grass I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I used Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass for the sky. After the ink blending was dry, I stamped a sentiment with Versmark ink and applied clear embossing powder.

To finish off the blended scene, I applied Tonic Nuvo Drops in Grey Mist and White Blizzard. I also used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze to add extra shine and dimension to the images. πŸ’«πŸ’›

Hi, friends! Today I’m sharing an adorable pink card featuring the Cutieasaurus set from My Favorite Things.

I started out by creating my own patterned paper in two easy steps! First, I heat embossed the Scattered Hearts Background Stamp from My Favorite Things with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. Next, I added color with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I said it before and I’m going to say it again: these inks have won my heart. They blend so smoothly and are simply a joy to work with. 😍

Then, I cut a piece of Neenah White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 2″ and did some stamping with the Cutieasaurus stamp set from My Favorite Things. I colored the trees, plants and dinosaur using Copic Markers.

Hi, friends! πŸ’› Today I’m a Guest Designer for Craftin Desert Divas. Yay! In this blog post, I’m featuring the super cute Magic Trolls stamp set.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a video for you because I’m sick again. πŸ˜” I went to the doctor three times this week because I have never felt this sick and tired before. I have bronchitis, and a throat and sinus infection. The doctor ordered me to rest so I can fully recover. I can’t go to work until December 17th. 😱

Anyway, back to today’s card! The Magic Trolls stamp set is part of the December 2018 Release from Craftin Desert Divas. This set is just so cute and I had a lot of fun coloring these images.

Magic Trolls (Craftin Desert Divas)

I started out by stamping two of the trolls on Neenah Solar White Card Stock. Then I masked off these images with masking paper and ink blended a background with Distress Oxide Inks. I added some water splatters to add more dimension to the background.

After coloring the trolls, I created a custom made sentiment. I simply opened up Microsoft Word, typed my greeting and printed it on Bazzill Card Shoppe Card Stock. I made this card for my cousin’s baby boy Mattias who will be celebrating his first birthday on December 12.Β

To finish off this card, I added some shine with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Shimmer Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I also used Tonic Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops for a bit of glitter!

That’s it for now. Make sure to visit the Craftin Desert Divas blog for more information about the new release. 😘
