Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m enjoying my second week of my internship at Kindergarten and I’m having so much fun. I also love the fact that I’m finally able to have some crafty time in the weekends. This weekend I played some more with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from Tonic.¬†In this video, I’ll be showing you how to create an emboss resist background with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. Super fun! ūüíõ

First I embossed an adorable heart background using the Seeing Hearts stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I used my favorite white embossing powder from Wow. After applying masking paper to my card, it was time to create the background. I simply took a small amount of paste from the jar and started working it around¬†until it softened enough. I also added a tiny bit of water to make the ink blending smoother. Make sure to use a small amount of water since we’re not using watercolor card stock here! The colors I used are called Spring Green and Aquamarine. They’re gorgeous!

I let this background dry for about 15 minutes. There was a little bit of paste left on the embossed hearts so I took a baby wipe and wiped that away. Easy! I colored the bunny and cat from the Welcome to the Family set from Winnie & Walter with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

To finish off this card, I die cut a speech bubble from the Sketchy Thoughts die cut set from Winnie & Walter. I embossed a sentiment and then put everything together with foam squares. I also stamped a sentiment from the Sending You set from Winnie & Walter and adhered a tiny die cut heart next to it. Finally, I used my Nuvo Shimmer Pen and Crystal Glaze to add extra dimension and shine to the heart. ‚≠ź

I’m loving this product and I can’t get enough of it. Have you tried out this product? I’ll be back soon. Thanks for stopping by. Big hugs. ūüíĆ
