Hi friends!

I’m sorry for being MIA for so long. The past few months I’ve been busy following a course to become a nail tech. In March, I finished the course! In the meantime I’ve been working as a substitute teacher here and there and of course I’m still responsible for the social media platforms for Cloud9 Crafts! 🙂

However, I haven’t made cards in SUCH a long time! My mojo has been gone for ages and to be honest, my interest in card making has decreased. In my spare time I love to workout and do nails! In fact, I love doing nails so much I decided to take the plunge and start my own nail salon in August! Eek! I’m SO excited!

Currently I’m busy planning everything for my nail business! Meeting up with accountants, going to the bank, insurance companies, etc. That’s why my mind hasn’t been on card making.

I started card making when I was 12 years old. I’m 24 now! People change over the years and so do their interests. I think I have come to a point in my life where I no longer enjoy making cards.

In all those years, you all have been so supportive and sweet! I built friendships with people from all over the world. People I still talk to on a regular basis! Card making has brought me so much joy. But lately that wasn’t the case. Now, I’m definitely not saying I won’t ever make cards again but for now I’m taking a long break.

I deactivated my Linkdeli account since I was still paying the subscription every month but was no longer using it. My blog will still be available for a while, but probably not for much longer since I’ll have to renew that subscription as well (domain name and host). However, my YouTube account and Instagram account will be online forever! You can also follow me on my personal Instagram and my nail business’ Instagram page.

Thank you for reading my update and for all of your support throughout the years! This is not goodbye! 🙂 Feel free to follow me on my personal Instagram page so we can connect! I’d love to see what you guys are up to as well!

Sending big hugs,

Laura ❤️

Good morning, friends! Today I am sharing a quick and colorful project using the Felicity Collection from Pinkfresh Studio along with the LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs by Winnie & Walter. This video is part of the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week featuring Pinkfresh Studio. 🙂

Ever since I started card making, I have been a fan of bright and happy cards. So for the Share the Love Week hosted by Winnie & Walter, I decided to play with a lot of products from the Felicity collection from Pinkfresh Studio. Be sure to check out the Winnie & Walter blog for more information using their stamps and the Felicity collection from Pinkfresh Studio. Everybody made such nice projects!

I truly love that bright and striped patterned paper. I cut a small strip of it and adhered it onto a standard size notecard. Using small strips of patterned paper is a good way to brighten up your card. Next, I started playing with the stickers and the washi sheets from the Felicity collection. Those birds make my heart happy! I wanted to create a really airy and collage feeling on this card, so I adhered a tiny strip of the washi tape and two fun stickers.

Of course I couldn’t resist adhering a couple of sequins. I mixed some clear sequins with a puffy sequin sticker from the Felicity collection. This sticker sheet comes with a bunch of sequins in various colors. So cute and perfect for when you’re creating quick cards! Finally, I heat embossed an ombré sentiment from the Winnie & Walter LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs stamp set. I sprinkled on the Atlantic Seaspray embossing powder first and then the Long Island Teal powder. I would suggest to funnel each color separately back into the jar before moving on to the next color. I totally forgot to do that when I was making that card. I guess the colors got me a bit too excited! 🙂

Winnie & Walter teamed up with Pinkfresh Studio to bring you a new Share the Love Week full of inspiration using the Felicity collection from Pinkfresh Studio along with Winnie & Walter products. Be sure to check out the Winnie & Walter blog because they will be posting sneak peeks and links to other projects featuring the products. There are lots of prizes to be won and fun challenges. We challenge you to make projects inspired by ours. Each blog post on the Winnie & Walter blog, will have a link up where you can submit your project!

There will be a winner each day for participating in the challenges (to use that day’s projects as inspiration) + a randomly chosen grand prize compiled from all the challenge participants (more entries would be more chance to win) and 1 comment from the 5 posts will win a $30 gift card (coupon code) to the Winnie & Walter shop. All of the winners will be announced on the Winnie & Walter blog. Good luck!

That’s it for now! Thank you for reading today’s post. See you soon! xo
