Hello! Happy Saturday everyone!

For today’s card I wanted to use some different colors than I normally use. I decided to use some orange/brown/beige colors for this card. I’m not a huge fan of this color scheme but I thought it would be fun to do something different than usual :).

I used paper from the Neopolitan 6×6 Paper Pad from American Crafts/Dear Lizzy. The paper pad is really gorgeous, it has lovely soft colors in it but also some more brownish colors. I also used a brown button which is an old American Crafts Button, also from Dear Lizzy. The orange button is from Hero Arts. The felt flower is from an old Pebbles Collection, I think it’s from the Happy Go Lucky collection. For the sentiment I used the Year Round Stamp Set from Hero Arts and stamped the sentiment with Chestnut Roan Ink.

That’s some more about the card I made :).

So, the next couple of days I won’t have a lot of time to create cards because I have exams for a week and a half. Because I will study a lot I am only going to be able to create a Saturday Stamp Day. But after the exams I will have a lot of crafty time! I will be a guest designer on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog in April for the second time! Yay yay yay! I’m really really excited for it! And 2 days ago I got some happy mail from Papercraft Inspirations and they asked if they could publish a card from me in their magazine (May 2013 Issue)! Woop woop! I’m really excited and happy! πŸ™‚ THANK YOU Simon Says Stamp for asking me to be a GD and THANK YOU Papercraft Inspirations to publish a card from me!

That’s it for today! I’ll be back next Saturday!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the Sunday Stamp Day instead of Saturday Stamp Day, lol! πŸ™‚

For today’s card I was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Challenge (A Bit O’ Green) so I decided to join the challenge :). I started out with some greenish/blue-ish card stock and embossed it with a Sizzix Embossing Folder using my Big Shot. Then I took some watercolor paper from Simon Says Stamp and I stamped the Paper Smooches Party Pals Stamp on it with StazOn Jet Black Ink (which smells heavenly I think). Then I colored the image with watercolor pencils from Staedtler. I added some shadow using a BG10 Copic Marker. I also wanted to decorate the balloon so I stamped a sentiment and flowers using the Paper Smooches Paisleys and Daisies Stamp Set using Versamark Ink. Then I embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder. To add some color to the balloon I used Distress Inks. I kinda smudged Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn on a slick surface and then I sprayed the ink with a Mini Mister. Then I took a paint brush and used the wet ink as paint to color the balloon.

That’s it for today! Thanks for visiting, I’ll be back really soon! πŸ™‚

Hello everyone!

I decided to join the Retro Sketch Challenge this week. For this card I used the March 2013 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. I cut a 4,25″ by 4,25 inch card from Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain Paper. That paper is just lovely. It has a gorgeous textured woodgrain pattern on it. Then I used paper from the Daphne’s Closet 6×6 Paper Pad from Lawn Fawn and embellished it with the coordinating Sticker Sheet. For the sentiment I used the Flower Friend Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp and I stamped the sentiment using Soft Pool Ink from Hero Arts (still my number one favorite ink). To add some extra detail on the card, I added a little flower button :).

That’s it for today! I’ll be back on Saturday with a new Saturday Stamp Day! Thanks for visiting! πŸ™‚
