Hello there! Happy Wednesday!
The wonderful and kind Lorraine from the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog asked me to be a Guest Designer on the Challenge Blog this month. I also was a Guest Designer in October and I loved it so of course I said yes!
This week’s challenge is …

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog
Happy Birthday
4 years ago the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog had it’s first challenge! 🙂
For the card I created, I started out with Powder Layering Papers from Hero Arts and I cut it to a standard size card. Then I adhered two strips of patterned paper from the Lucky Charm Collection from Dear Lizzy on the card. When I was ready doing that I took another piece of paper from that same paper pad and used the Tri Circle Die Cut from Simon Says Stamp to cut out those circles.
I wanted to use some critters from the coordinating stamp set, which is the Circle Friend Stamp Set (also from Simon Says Stamp). I stamped the little ones on Simon Says Stamp Watercolor Paper and colored them using Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Vintage Photo, Weathered Wood and Milled Lavender).
I gave the two cuties a little party hat. I just cut out a little triangle out of scraps of the Lucky Charm paper :). I added some detail on the hat using Star Dust Stickles and some gems from Hero Arts. I also added Glossy Accents on the nose from the critters. I hand wrote the sentiment using a Uni Ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen.
That’s some more about the card I created.
Because it’s the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog’s Birthday there are some wonderful extra prizes to be won!

Hi everyone!

Today I decided to use the Home Sweet Home stamp set from Lawn Fawn :). It’s such a sweet stamp set. I love those little birdies!

I started out with some Heavy Weight card stock from Simon Says Stamp and I used an embossing folder from a local store, so I can’t link it up in the supply list. But I’m sure that there are some similar embossing folders out there :).
Then I took a piece of Neenah White card stock and sprayed a bit of Buttercup Mister Huey Spray from Studio Calico. I really like using SC Sprays the last couple of days. I stamped the sentiment with Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts and the little heart using Bubblegum ink from Hero Arts.
I stamped two birds using Archival Ink, and then I stamped the birds again on another piece of paper and used a Dove Blender pen to color the birds. I also used Butter Bar ink and Tide Pool ink from Hero Arts. To add a little finishing touch, I added Glossy Accents.

That’s it for today! 🙂
Thanks for visiting.

Hi all!
For today’s card I decided to keep it simple and clean. So I used the Circle Friends Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp and the coordinating die cut Tri Circle from Simon Says Stamp. I colored the teddy bear using a distress marker in the color Vintage Photo. For the sentiment and the heart I used Tide Pool ink from Hero Arts to coordinate with the Shallows paper from Hero Arts.
Be sure to watch the video to see all the details :).

Thanks for visiting and I’ll be back Wednesday with a card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! I’ll be guest designing this month! Yay! I’m super excited! 🙂
