Hi all! I have a day off my internship today, so I decided to do some homework for the current Online Card Class called Clean and Simple 4. While I was brainstorming to create a card, the current Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge inspired me as well. More information about the challenge at the end of this blog post. 🙂

Julie Ebersole shared a video in OCC Clean and Simple 4 on how to create a tri-fold card. Her design and color choice inspired me to create this card. First, I scored my card and stamped tiny dots on there using the Big Bang Confetti stamp set from Winnie & Walter. Next, I stamped a sentiment on the card using the free with purchase stamp set from Winnie & Walter called Sparkle.

Inspired by Taheera’s current challenge, Cure For the Monday Blues #42, I created heart strings using the Hearts die cut set from Lawn Fawn and glitter paper. I put a piece of white string on the card, and adhered the hearts on top of the string using foam adhesive. Afterwards, I adhered Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh on top of the string. The foam adhesive and the adhesive of the sequins is enough to secure to thread to the card.

This card would be perfect to give to a bride, don’t you think? 🙂

Cure For The Monday Blues #42

My talented friend, Taheerah Atchia, has a weekly challenge up on her blog called Cure For the Monday Blues. Each week, Taheerah shares an image that you can use as an inspiration to create any project. This week’s image made my HEART happy! I love the soft colors and the heart strings. So pretty! Happy Saturday, everyone! Today I am here with a card using the adorable and funny Monster Party stamp set from Create A Smile.

This card came together quite quickly, to be honest. Lately, I am obsessed with stripes. I love them! For this card, I masked off stripes using washi tape. Then, I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to create happy and colorful stripes. This color is simply heavenly. It reminds me of hot summer days. Next, I used the new Peek-A-Boo die cut from Pretty Pink Posh to create a fun frame.

I folded over those edges and stamped a monster of the Monster Party stamp set on a white notecard. After covering it up with masking paper, I brought in some color with a Dried Marigold Distress Ink. Next, I colored the monster using Copics. To finish off the card, I used soft colored Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

That’s it for now. See you soon! Xo

Hello everyone! Today I am here with my last project as a Neat and Tangled guest designer. Be sure to visit the Neat and Tangled blog for all the details about this card. 🙂

I used the Sparkle and Shine stamp set from Neat and Tangled to stamp a fun piece for this card. After stamping all of the diamonds, stars and lightbulb and I colored them with Copic markers.

This card came together very quickly! It would be perfect to mass produce. To finish off my card, I used the Birthday Bash sequin mix from Neat and Tanged. Love it!

That’s it for today. Again, be sure to visit the Neat & Tangled blog for many more details about this card. I also wanted to thank Danielle again for inviting me to be a guest designer. I had a blast!

Hello everyone! This week has been a fun week at the Winnie & Walter blog. Lots of new stamp sets and die cut sets have been premiering. Today I am here with a project using one of the new sets called The Party.

This stamp set is so awesome! Lots of images and greetings are included in this set. I’m a huge fan of it. I stamped the large flowers using Soft Cantaloupe ink from Hero Arts. I honestly can’t wait for spring to begin, so I decided to go with happy and bright colors today.

For the sentiment, I used one of the beautiful die cut sets from Winnie & Walter. This one is called The Big, the Bold and the Happy Cutaways. I colored the die cut using different types of ink that I will link to in the supply list at the end of this blog post. 🙂 For the second part of the sentiment, I stamped a little birthday greeting from the The Big, the Bold and the Happy stamp set from Winnie & Walter. Finally, I finished off the card using Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Love these so much!

That’s it for today! Be sure to visit the Winnie & Walter blog for more inspiration using this stamp set, along with the other sets that premiered today. Remember, all new products will be available for purchase later today. Click HERE for a direct link to the Winnie & Walter shop. 🙂
