Hello, sweet friends. Today I am here sharing my very first Q&A video that I am going to be calling #AskLaura. 🙂 In this video, I am answering the questions you sent me trough Facebook and Instagram. It’s a long one, but I took my time to answer each question.

As promised in the video, here is a list of the shops and links that I mentioned in the video:

  • Scrobby – Online craft shop located in The Netherlands. They offer a big assortment of products + good shipping rates.

If you have any more questions, just leave them here and I will answer them as soon as possible. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! xo

Hey sweet followers. Today I am part of a fun blog hop hosted by Simon Says Stamp to showcase the new products from the “Falling For You” release. Click HERE to see all of the products and to do some shopping. 😉

For my project, I used the adorable Baby Party Animals stamp set. I colored the images using several Copic Markers and I used white paper from Simon Says Stamp to color these animals. It’s the best paper to color with Copics. I love it. Since I wanted to have a bit of dimension, I used masking paper to mask off the bunny in the center. I stamped a birthday greeting underneath the critters using the More Sketchy Banner Greetings stamp set from SSS.

Like I mentioned in my previous blog posts, I am absolutely in love with foil. This time, I used the 5th Avenue paper pad from Heidi Swapp (from the MINC collection) to foil a piece of patterned paper. Simply pick a color of foil, grab the piece of patterned paper and run it trough your laminator. Remember, this technique *only* works with the specific patterned paper from the Minc collection from Heidi Swapp. 🙂 Finally, I finished off my card using the 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Just like I mentioned in the beginning of this post, this blog post and video are part of the Falling For You blog hop hosted by Simon Says Stamp. Your next stop on the hop is Yoonsun Hur’s blog.

Happy Saturday, everyone! It’s Laura here and in today’s Saturday Stamp Day video I am using the Purrfect Pair stamp set from Mama Elephant. Personally, I am more of a dog person than a cat person but these kitties are *so* adorable, don’t you think so? 🙂

If you follow me on Instagram, you already noticed that I have new storage boxes for my Copic markers. Because of those, I did some Copic coloring today. I stepped out of my comfort zone and instead of just doing some simple coloring, I added some stripes to the cat on the right. It’s not perfect, but I tried my best. 😉

Words can’t expres how much I am in love with foil. Foil should be my middle name – Laura Foil Sterckx. It doesn’t even sound bad. Anyway, I foiled a pretty patterned paper from the Heidi Swapp 5th Avenue collection using my favorite mint foil. I didn’t record the part where I am running the foil trough my laminator, so check out THIS video for that part. I thought the card looked a bit plain with just a regular white background. So instead of leaving it white, I stamped teeny tiny hearts using Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Finally, I gave the card an extra finishing touch by adhering 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That’s it for now. Sending big crafty hugs to all of you! xo

Hey everyone! It’s time for another Saturday Stamp Day card and video. In today’s video I am showing you how to create a birthday card using a digital stamp from JW Illustrations.

The Kawaii Donut digital stamp from JW Illustrations just makes me happy. That little smiley face is so cute. 🙂 Since my dad printed this at work using a laser printer (so I could color it using Copics!), the paper of this images was a bit too thin. That’s why I adhered a piece of white card stock behind it so it would become more suitable for coloring.

Foiling has become my newest obsession. In today’s video I used more of the 5th Avenue paper collection from Heidi Swapp along with Light Pink Heidi Swapp foil. Next, I adhered a strip of gold glitter paper from DoCrafts. For the sentiment on this card, I used the Stitched Labels die cut set from Pretty Pink Posh along with the Sugar Rush stamp set from Winnie & Walter. As you can see, I used the negative piece of the foil. I think this is a great way to use little scraps that you would normally throw away. To finish off the card, I used a variety of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

JW ILLUSTRATIONS

As I mentioned before, I am using the Kawaii Donut digital stamp by JW Illustrations. When owner, Jessica, reached out to me and asked if I was interested in using one of her stamps, I was giddy! She designs these digital stamps herself along with other clipart, digital papers, fonts and sometimes cutting files. Of course this digital stamp is my favorite. However, there are some more adorable digital stamps I like. Click HERE, HERE and HERE. 🙂
