Hey, stampers! In today’s video I am introducing the MISTI stamping tool and I’m also showing you how to create four quick and easy Easter cards. You probably heard a lot about this tool already, but I decided to record a video sharing my thoughts and tips on how to “set up” this tool.

Thanks to the MISTI stamping tool, these four Easter cards came together in only half an hour. First, I used the bunny stamp from the Easter Gift Tag stamp from Studio Calico. I have had some trouble with this stamp set, to be honest. When I first used this set, the stamps wouldn’t stamp as crisp and even as other clear stamps. After cleaning it excessively with baby wipes I was able to use it without any problems. Phew! 😉

I stamped a wreath using different stamps from different sets. In total, I used four stamp sets to create the wreath. You could also use other tiny stamps to create a heart wreath, a star wreath, etc. The possibilities are endless! Lots of people are a bit scared to cut their clear stamps apart. There’s no need to be scared because you can easily mount the stamp back together. I cut the greeting stamp from the Easter set I used apart this time because I didn’t like the lines.

Julie Ebersole is a card making royalty. I watched a video from her today and she created a dotted background using a stencil and a black pen. I thought: “Hey, I have a stencil I could use!” so here I am. I used the Medium Dots stencil from Simon Says Stamp along with a black pen. Finally, I adhered 6MM Silly Eyes from Pretty Pink Posh on these bunnies. I think it is the perfect finishing touch to these cards. 🙂

MISTI TOOL

When you order the MISTI tool, it will come with the black foam insert. You will have to purchase the grid paper and super magnets separately. You might think you don’t need those two extras, but I highly recommend getting those anyway. It will make the stamping even more easier! The trickiest part of “setting up” your MISTI is applying the vinyl to protect those grid lines. However, I found an easy way to apply it without any bubbles. It’s a bit hard to explain it in words, but be sure to watch my video to check out my technique.

So, my final thought about the MISTI stamping tool? It is definitely a must-have tool for stampers who like to mass-produce cards since your stamp will be mounted on the exact same spot for the whole time.  I am a huge fan of the tool and I absolutely love it.

That’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂

Hello! In today’s video I am showing you how to create sequin garlands. They look super fun and festive! 🙂

I love when stamp companies have new releases. When I saw the new release from the German company Create A Smile, I was giddy. My favorite stamp set of the release is Eggstaordinary Egghunt. This stamp set includes adorable critters and matching sentiments. Perfect for spring themed cards! Next, I created a bokeh background using the Big Bang Confetti stamp set from Winnie & Walter.

These sequin garlands look fun, don’t you think? The best part? They are very easy to create! Simply take a piece of white thread and adhere some sequins on top of it. You could use any type or color of sequin! I used different sizes of Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. They are my favorite because they match with every single color.

That’s it for today! Thanks so much for visiting! 🙂

Happy Saturday everyone! 🙂 In today’s video I am showing you how to make a sequin shaker card using the new Sugar Rush stamp set from Winnie & Walter. Be sure to watch until the very end of my video, because there might be little giveaway.

I started out by die cutting three circles using a die cut set from WPlus9. Next, I stamped bokeh dots using the Big Bang Confetti stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I love this stamp set so much. There are a lot of images included that you can use to create your own background. I used Lemon Yellow ink from Hero Arts and Cotton Candy ink from Simon Says Stamp. These colors look so pretty together. Can you tell I really like yellow lately? 😉

After stamping the bokeh background, I created my shaker. On the inside of the sequin shaker, I stamped images and a greeting from the new Sugar Rush stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I think this stamp set is simply fabulous and it’s perfect for birthday cards. (Did you know Winnie & Walter used my input to create this stamp set? I asked for a stamp set with donuts and cupcakes and ta-da! This is what they came up with. Love it!)

I colored the images using Copic markers and paper pieced the cupcake wrapper with Dear Lizzy patterned paper. I filled up the sequin shaker with new seed beads from Pretty Pink Posh and the traditional sequins. What can I say…. I love sequins.

For today’s card, I used a lot of the new products from the January 2015 Release from Winnie & Walter. First, I stamped stripes using the new Scenery: Stripes stamp set. I used Hero Arts inks to stamp these solid and crisp lines. Love! Afterwards, I took one of my new favorite stamp sets from Winnie & Walter called The Party. I used that set to stamp the balloon with black ink. I really like how the balloon turned out. To give it an extra oomph, I adhered some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

After I finished the balloon and stripes, I used the new Sparkle stamp set. You’ll get this stamp set for free when you purchase at Winnie & Walter. There are some requirements, though. Here they are: your order must be placed through February 13 at 10 am CST time, your single order must total $35 or more before shipping and handling and taxes are applied. This offer is while supplies last. Don’t worry if you didn’t get the stamp set this time. It will be available for purchase later in 2015. 🙂 To finish off the card, I stamped a cute heart and star from the Sugar Rush stamp set.
