Hi everyone! Today I am here sharing another sequin shaker card that I made using the brand new goodies from the March release from Pretty Pink Posh along with adorable stamps from WPlus9. This card is part of a Product Release Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh in honor of the new products. I will have more information about this blog hop and a giveaway at the end of this blog post.

For today’s card, I wanted the design to be clean and simple to highlight the use of the wonderful dies from the new Stitched Banner Duo die cut set from Pretty Pink Posh. I die cut the stitched banner using some patterned paper from the Serendipity paper pad from Dear Lizzy. Don’t you just love that lemon pattern? I do! Next, I die cut the rectangle from the same die cut set to create a window.

On the inside and outside of the shaker, I created a little scene using the Unforgettable and Bubble Talk stamps and dies from WPlus9. I am in love with those elephants. They are simply adorable and I can already tell you that you will see me using these stamps a lot in the future. I filled up the shaker using the new 4MM Springtime Mix sequins from Pretty Pink Posh along with Sparkling Clear beads, a sweet flower mix and the 4MM Lime Sorbet sequins. I love all of these new sequins. They make my heart happy!

Since this is such a fun blog hop, there are two $25 gift vouchers to be won. Simply leave comments along the hop for your chance to win. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PDT on 3/11/2015. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog. Good luck!

As I mentioned in the beginning of the post, this blog post is part of the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop in honor of the new steel dies and sequins. Your next stop on the hop is Lisa Elton‘s blog. Here’s a full list of participants in case you’d like to start from the beginning of this hop!

Hello, stampers! Do you like cupcakes? I certainly do! So when Winnie & Walter asked the Design Team if we would be interested in making a card for the Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration, I immediately said YES! I have more information about this challenge and celebration at the end of this blog post. 🙂

I often say stamp sets are my “favorite”, but the Sugar Rush stamp set from Winnie & Walter has won my heart. I used it many times already and I’m planning to use it even more! This time, I stamped the cupcake using black ink. Next,  I used the cupcake wrapper stamp and Neon Chartreuse ink from Hero Arts to create a colorful wrapper. Cupcakes just scream SPRINKLES to me so I created some using the Big Bang Confetti stamp set from W&W along with different colors of Hero Arts inks.

After stamping the banners, I colored them using a blender pen and two Hero Arts inks (Neon Chartreuse and Tide Pool). Then, I stamped a greeting using the wonderful The Party stamp set from Winnie & Walter. I like the combination of the two fonts together! I thought the card was a little bit too plain, so I stamped some gray cupcakes using Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts. This ink is a bit darker, so I first stamped it on some scrap paper before stamping it on my front piece. 🙂 Finally, I finished off the card using Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this blog post, this card is part of the Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration. Their celebration includes two weeks of celebrating, featuring over 20 of their favorite sponsors with three fun and fabulous inspiration images! (I used the image below, don’t you just love that picture?) Since this is a special celebration, there are three prize packages. Since Winnie & Walter is one of their sponsors, I made a card for this special challenge. 🙂

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a card and video in honor of the very first Sparkle and Shine challenge blog. I will have more information about this challenge blog at the end of this blog post. So be sure to keep on reading! 🙂

You all know that I love playful stamps. The new release from Lawn Fawn comes with many cute stamps, but the Let’s Play set has won my heart. I colored all of the images using Copics. Since I wanted a little bit of extra dimension inside of the shaker card, I papier pieced the bodies of the cute critters.

Talking about paper piecing, this is a fun and easy technique that I have been a fan of ever since I first started making cards. It’s a perfect way to use up your scraps (or just full sheets of patterned paper). I paper pieced the slide using patterned paper from the Day Dreamer pad from Dear Lizzy. An oldie, but goodie.

Shaker cards are my thing. Whenever I fill up a shaker, I feel so happy. Something about picking out sequins is just absolutely wonderful. 🙂 This time I filled up my sequin shaker using Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I used some brand new sequins that released today! I have links to all of the sequins and beads I used in the supply list below. 🙂

The Sparkle and Shine challenge blog is a new one in blog land owned by Angel Johns and my friend Laurel Beard. They will be posting bi-weekly challenges that focus on sequins. These challenges are sponsored by Pretty Pink Posh and Winnie & Walter. Today I am making a card for them as a Pretty Pink Posh design team member. Later this month, I’ll be making a project for them as a Winnie & Walter design team member. After that, I may or may not be guest designing with them. *wink* For each challenge, Angel and Laurel will be sharing an inspiration picture that you’ll need to use as an inspiration for your project. The image inspired me to create a “good luck” card. 🙂 Visit the Sparkle and Shine challenge blog by clicking HERE.

Hello! In today’s blog post I am sharing a card I made using brand new products from the March 2014 Release from Pretty Pink Posh. In total, there are three new die cut sets (Picket Fence, Stitched Labels and Stitched Banner Duo), four new sequin packs (Spring Flower sequins, 4mm Lime Sorbet, 6mm Lime Sorbet and 4mm Springtime sequins) and one pack of green confetti.

For today’s card, I decided to use the new Picket Fence die from Pretty Pink Posh along with the new Spring Flower sequins. If you get this die cut, you’ll notice that the die doesn’t have a bottom cut line. Don’t worry about that! Just cut off the bottom part where you want it using your paper trimmer. After I die cut the picket fence, I used the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn to create some grass. I love stitched lines, so I used the rectangle from the Stitched Duo 2 die cut set from Pretty Pink Posh to give everything a nice and stitched edge.

Can I just tell you how much I love the Bubble Talk stamp set from WPlus9? It’s simply fantastic! I used the coordinating die cuts to die cut the elephant and the speech bubble. I thought the elephant looked a bit lonely up there, so I adhered some flowers from the Spring Flower sequin pack from Pretty Pink Posh. I have been wanting a flower sequin mix for a while now, so I’m super happy that it’s finally here! 🙂

That’s it for now! I’ll be back later today with another card and video.
