Hey, friends! It’s Laura here and I am so excited to back here with an all new Saturday Stamp Day card and video. My exams aren’t completely finished since I have two more to go (French and English), but I was able to make a card, film it and post it. Thank you for your support during my exams. I can’t wait for my Summer Break to kick off next Friday! 🙂

In today’s video, I am using the new Fintastic Friends stamp and die cut set from Lawn Fawn. This set is jam packed with cute images, sentiments and little elements.

During my study breaks, I like to watch videos from other card makers. A couple of days ago, I watched THIS video by the super talented Nicole Gavaldon. She did some watercoloring with Distress Ink and since watercoloring was my obsession a while ago, I decided to create another watercolored background. For my background, I used mainly Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers with a touch of Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio.

(I used my new camera, Sony DSC-HX90, for this picture! I have done zero editing this time and I am so happy with the quality. The exposure and colors are just by the settings of the camera. I love it!)

Saturday Stamp Day - You're Fintastic using Lawn Fawn (Sequin Shaker + Watercoloring) by Laura Sterckx.

Since it has been a while since I created card, I couldn’t resist to make another sequin shaker for these cute little fish. I used Silver Shimmer beads from Pretty Pink Posh along with Lavender Moon iridescent sequins and some of my favorite Sparkling Clear sequins from PPP. For the sentiment on this card, I used vellum and white embossing powder from WOW which is absolutely perfect to heat emboss greetings. Love it!

That’s it for today! Thank you so much for stopping by at my blog and I cannot wait to start sharing cards and videos with you all. xo

I also have a winner to announce. The winner of a spot to the In The Mood online card class is Debbie Bassett! Congratulations, I sent you an email so you can claim your prize! 🙂 Thanks for entering the giveaway everyone.

Hello friends!

It’s Wednesday and that means I am getting closer and closer to the end of my exams. I am still very busy studying and I haven’t made cards for about two weeks now – say  what?! I can’t wait until June 23rd so I can start using some new products I recently purchased and share new blog posts and videos.

Since I don’t have any cards to share yet, I thought I’d make it up to you by doing a little giveaway! A couple of days ago, my friend, Catherine Pooler from StampNation told me she has a new card class called In The Mood. I have been previewing the class and it is looking wonderful already so I can’t wait to check out the full class! Want to know what this class is all about? Here’s a little description:

“You can spend hours combing the internet looking for ideas an inspiration, but that severely cuts into your crafting time, right? We did the hard work for you. We gathered amazing photo and color inspirations and turned them into 6 ridiculously inspiring Mood Boards. In total there are 21 video tutorials by 26 top notch designers.”

Sounds pretty awesome, huh? I am giving away ONE spot to this class. Simply leave a comment here by Saturday, June 20th at 11:59 p.m. EST for your chance to win.

Also, there is a fun blog hop right now to celebrate the announcement of this class! Feel free to check that out by clicking HERE.

That’s it for now! I will be back very soon! 🙂 Thanks for you support! xo

Hello friends!

I am taking a short break from studying and popping in to let you know that one of my favorite companies – Lawn Fawn released a new collection of ultra-fabulous and adorable products. I immediately visited my one stop online craft shops to find out if they sell these products. Good news because lots of these shops have the products available for purchase right now. Hurry up because these will be out of stock very quickly! Below, I am listing the shops and the products that caught my eyes the most + the ones I pre-ordered.

Do I need to say anything else? I mean just look at those cute faces of the So Jelly stamps. These are simply adorable. The best part? This set is only $4 so of course I had to get it.

I am in love with the Fintastic Friends stamp set. First of all, I really like the punny name of this stamp set. The fishes are so pretty and I can’t wait to use these for shakers.

The Rainbow die cut is so cool and whimsical. I really like to idea of having a big rainbow die like this. Another bonus is that this die has a lot of arches.

That’s it for now! Let me know in the comments what you’ll be getting from this release.

Hey friends!

I am quickly popping in to let you know that I drew a winner of my giveaway on my Facebook page. The winner is: Zully Chupina-Hopson. I emailed you! Thanks everyone for entering the giveaway. Your comments truly made me happy.

See you soon! Exams are beginning in a couple of days and I will finish them on the 23rd of June. I can’t wait to start making cards again. xo
