Hi all! In today’s video I am sharing a cute and playful card using Lawn Fawn products + tips on how to match the inside of your card with the outside of it. Today is a special day! It’s Lawnscaping Challenge’s 100th challenge if you can believe it! I have been invited as a special party guest by Design team Member Laurel Beard. Be sure to head on over to the Lawnscaping Blog where you can see ALL of the Design Team projects as well as ALL of our special party guest projects.
I created a background using the Peek-a-Boo die cut from Pretty Pink Posh. This is such a fun die and you can open those little pieces to create a window. I colored all of these panels using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Next, I created a whimsical scene using the Grassy Border die cut from Lawn Fawn along with the adorable Monster Mash stamp set.
In today’s video and blog post I’m sharing some tips on how to match the inside of your card with the outside! First, I recommend stamping a custom made greeting using an alphabet stamp set. I used the Milo’s ABCs stamp set. I love this font! Next, you could stamp little details inside of your card using the stamp set you used for the outside. I used the little heart stamp, but you could even stamp another monster on the inside. Since I want the colors to match, I used the same yellow ink for the inside. That way everything matches together nicely.

As I mentioned, this video is part of my friend Laurel Beard‘s special celebration. Laurel and the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog DT are celebrating the 100th challenge. The Lawnscaping Challenge Blog posts biweekly challenges that focus on Lawn Fawn products. I am a huge fan and if I had more time, I’d be entering every single challenge! Today’s challenge is a fun and easy one…. birthdays!
I am so happy to be part of this celebration! Be sure to visit the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog for more details about this special celebration.
