Hey everyone! Since there wasn’t a Saturday Stamp Day video 2 days ago, I thought I’d make it up to you by uploading a video today. This video is part of my “Collab With The Two L’s” video series. It’s a collaboration between me and my friend Laurel Beard. Today we are using the same mood board for our projects. (More on that later in this blog post.)

For today’s card I used the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set from Reverse Confetti. This set is simply awesome. There are endless possibilities to customize the flamingo’s. Think of all the different colors of ink you could use! I used the Flamingo ink from Studio Calico. To be honest, I am not quite fond of those SC inks because they give splotchy images. However, this color stamps perfectly! The mood board image inspired be to stamp “xo” multiple times using the Milo’s ABCs stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

You probably already know that I’m a huge fan of the Serendipity collection from Dear Lizzy. There are so many pretty colors in that collection. It’s absolutely divine. I used the sticker sheet which is just lovely! The big flowers are gorgeous, don’t you think? Since I was going for some gold touches on this card, I also added splatters using a gold Color Shine from Heidi Swapp. Finally, I finished my card off with Pretty Pink Posh sequins. 🙂

As I mentioned in the video and in the beginning of this blog post, this video is part of my Collab With The Two L’s video series. Laurel Beard and I worked together to bring you this new video series. 🙂 In today’s video we are both using a mood board that I put together.

That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping bye! 🙂

NOTE: because this post went up today, there won’t be a Saturday Stamp Day video. Sorry!

Good morning, stampers. Today I am part of the Pretty Pink Posh 1st Birthday Celebration. This is a very exciting blog hop filled with lots of festivities and inspiration. You probably arrived from Nicole Gavaldon’s blog. Be sure to keep on reading because I will be sharing the giveaway details about this blog hop at the end of this post.

For my project, I used the brand new Stitched Duo 3 die cut set from Pretty Pink Posh. This set is simply fantastic. I love the round shape of the tag and the stitched edges make it simply perfect.

This card came together quicker than expected. First, I die cut a lovely tag using the Stitched Duo 3 die cut set from PPP and a snowy hill using the Stitched Borders 1 die cut set. (By the way, after adhering the snowy hill on the tag I lined up the tag die cut again and ran it trough my Big Shot one more time.) Since this tag needed a bit of an extra oomph I decided to emboss glittery stars using the Falling Flakes stamp set from Neat & Tangled. Next, I adhered a row of white pom pom twine on the tag. I really like these pom poms, they are perfect for the winter.

Afterwards, I colored and die cut a penguin and bear from the Winter Pals stamp set from WPlus9. These critters are simply adorable and I this set might be my new favorite. Then, I adhered the tag on a woodgrain notecard using foam adhesive. Finally, I embellished the card using a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins. 🙂

Paulina will be doing all sorts of giveaways during the festivities, along with prizes for those who comment during the blog hop. These giveaways include different prize packs such as a Big Shot and ALL of the Pretty Pink Posh die cuts, a huge sequin prize pack, gift certificates and some extra surprises.

There is also a special 3-day coupon code included in Paulina’s post. Be sure to visit the PPP blog to claim the coupon code.

Today is the last day of the festivities and I am honored to be part of today’s blog hop. The next post on the hop is by Debby Hughes. Here’s a full list in case you encounter some broken links on the way. 🙂

Hey friends! A couple of weeks ago, I told you that I would be guest designing for a fun company this month. Guess what? I am guest designing for Neat & Tangled and I cannot wait to share my projects I made using their awesome products. In total, I will be sharing three projects on the Neat & Tangled blog.

You Are Beary Special. Created by Laura Sterckx as a Neat & Tangled Guest Designer.

For my first card I used the super cute Little Bear stamp set along with the Festive Fall Sequin Mix to create a fun shaker card. 🙂

This card came together quickly and it would be great to mass-produce. You could also stamp some stars instead of using paper. Be sure to visit the Neat and Tangled blog for all the details about this card. Thank you, Danielle for sending me products to play with! I am so honored to be guest designing this month.

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all have been recovered from the busy holidays. 🙂 Today, I am here with another Saturday Stamp Day card and video using some of the new goodies I showed in my previous haul video.

It has been a while since I did some watercoloring so today I reached out to my beloved Gansai Tambi watercolor set to create a quick background. (By the way, the big box of 36 colors is currently on “reserve”. However, the two colors I used are also available in the 18 and the 24 set in case you’re interested.) I have one quick tip for doing washes of watercolor…. Simply dab your brush on your paper and add water if you want to create a lighter wash. It really helps! After the background was dry, I looped some white thread and I adhered a pretty wood veneer donut from Dear Lizzy on top of that thread.

The Donut You Know stamp set from Reverse Confetti has some great donut-releated sentiments in it that match the wood veneer donut perfectly. I heat embossed one of the greetings onto a vellum banner and adhered it on top of the watercolored background. Normally I use Glossy Accents to adhere these vellum banners, but today I used Multi Medium Matte from Ranger along with a stylus. This makes it easy to add teeny tiny dots of adhesive behind the white letters. To finish off the card, I used matching Pretty Pink Posh sequins and Dear Lizzy enamel dots. 🙂

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping bye!
