My FAVORITE CARD MAKING TECHNIQUE EVER! (Justine Hovey’s 50 Cards for 50K Video Hop)

Hello and welcome to Justine Hovey’s 50 Cards for 50K Video Hop celebrating 50,000 YouTube Subscribers! This hop is focussed on card making techniques. Over 50 card examples will be shown throughout the hop! Wow! 🤩

I decided to focus on Distress Ink Blending for my video. However, I’m also sharing tips and tricks on Copic Coloring and creating a Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Card. Make sure to watch the video below for more information! 🙂

First, I stamped and colored images from the Spooky Village and Happy Howloween Stamp Sets from Lawn Fawn. These are such adorable Halloween stamp sets. 🎃

After creating the card front for my Reveal Wheel, I used Distress Oxide Ink Pads to make stunning gradient backgrounds. In the video, I share which colors I used to make each background.

There are different mediums to create backgrounds with Distress Ink. In the video I used inexpensive make-up brushes and Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tools. Both work great, but I prefer the make-up brushes because the are a teeny tiny bit easier to work with. 😊

To add sparkle to a card, I used a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen and a coat of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze. Finally, I added White Blizzard and Orange Soda Glitter Drops. I loooove the White Blizzard drops so much because they match with every single color!
